Totem Cats -- Dare To Join?

Flamestorm touched his nose to Moonfrost's ear. "We'll find her," he promised, though he knew when the third frost warrior came, Moonfrost would be leaving.

Flamestorm couldn't meet her gaze, looking away. "I was hoping you'd say that," he murmured softly, too softly for her to hear.

(Oh just join! Shadowheart is open.)

Moonfrost looked up. "What?" she asked him, eyes narrowed. But she quickly grew over it, and smiled. "I never should have come here, to this side of the forest. You know why?"

Puff suddenly jumped as she saw a snake underfoot. When she fell to the ground, sudden pain in her leg was apparent. Blood welled up and staine her fur as she yowled with a screech.

(whoa kay...)

Shadowheart leapt to his paws with surprise at the eerie screech. He ran quickly and swiftly to the sourc of the sound. A snake slithered away, into a hole. "Are you bit? can you walk?" he panicked, eyes wide.

"I.... don't....." gasped Puff.

Shadowheart layed his tail tip on her muzzle. "Nevermind. shh." he meowed, and began dragging her by the scruff back to camp. "Help! I need the medicine cat!"

Puff tried to yowl again, but nothing came out of her dry throat.

Shadowheart shook his head, eyes watering. He nodded silent thanks to Blankfeather as the queen padded out of the med. den , alarmed. "I don't know who this is, but I think they were bit by a snake!"

Puff suddenly fell uncousious.

Puff flinched at the sting.

"I did." Shadowheart gently shouldered the queen, and took her place, holding up the badly bitten cat. "What is your name?"

She winced--- she had always hated her name. But she was too dazed to lie and be sucessful, so she murmered, "Puffff....."
