Aaron read her mind. Twice. "You kissed him. Didn't you?" He asked looking into her green eyes. He wasn't angry, just... surprised. "And don't say no..."

Tara kept her head toward the ground, she shut her eyes and mumbled softly, "Yes... I'm so sorry Aaron... We had just broked out... I was happy that I had new powers... And, the rush of Adrenaline from the victory just sorta... made me do it? I swear It was just on the cheek." She looked up at Aaron with tears in her eyes, "If you don't forgive me then I understand..."

Aaron wiped the tears from her cheek with his pointer finger. "I forgive you..." He smiled "I just want you to promise me, you wont run off again." He whispered and embraced her in a hug.

Tara pulled away furiously. "You think I ran away!" She snorted, "I was kidnapped Aaron! I would never do that to you! I-I can't believe this!" She stormed off towards the woods.

Aaron bit his lip and dashedafter her yelling her name; "Tara! Tara! I meant before that! The time when you left at my parent's deaths!" Thank god for superspeed He thought catching up to her.

Tara tried to quicken her pace, but Aaron had already caught up to her. She stopped and tensed up, "Aaron. Leave." She commanded, and then winced. She would go back to the Institute... or run away and live in the wild. Tara forgot about the mind reading and then stopped her thoughts, She knew Aaron had heard her plans.

"Tara. I'll leave. Just... Just don't go back to the Institute. Please promise me that..." Aaron whispered looking into her deep green eyes. "Promise me that, and you'll never hear from me again... unless you want me too."

Darnit! Tara muttered in her mind, Why do you have to be so nice! She gulped and tried to hold back tears, "I don't know Aaron... I-I want to stay with you, can we just go somewhere and rest? I don't care where it is, I'll be fine anywhere with you."

Because... Aaron thought smiling. "Um... We could go to my Aunt and Uncle's house or... the dusty old mansion in Paris that I now own..." He whispered extending his hand for her to take.

Tara bit her lip and gingerly took Aaron's hand. She smiled softly as she looked up at him, "Let's go for the mansion... I'd like that."

Aaron reappeared with Tara on the doorstep to the overlarge house. He shoved open the door revealing the dusty fancy looking entryroom. "Wa-la." He said coughing. "Sorry about the dust..."

Tara smiled and then breathed softly, "It's perfect, Air." She smiled softer and then muttered, "It's weird... I can almost feel like I could just make all this dust dissapear... the sunlight... It wants to come through the windows..." She blinked and then went over to a plant that was dead. Tara smiled softly and then whispered, "Wake up..." The plant seemed to grow brighter in color and perk up. She grinned, "It's better!"

Aaron shook his head and sent a wave of wind bursts through the house. Shipping all of the dust onto the street. He grinned. "Beat that." He teased. Crash! "Aw. Crud. I guess I wasn't careful enough..."

(A vase fell)

Tara sneezed, "Aw, Air. I might be half Avian but I have allergies, you know!"

"Sorry." Aaron aapologized. "There's a minimart around the corner if you need tissues..." He pulled a few euro's out of his pocket and handed them to Tara.

Tara laughed, "No... I'm fine, let's just get this place back into working order."

"Well. This would be a perfect time for a tour of the Night Mansion." Aaron said grinning.

Tara smiled, "That would be wonderful, Aar." She took his hand and smiled softer.

Aaron led her through a bunch of spare rooms with woren down furniture. He cme upon his parents bedroom. "My parents old bedroom..." He whispered walking into the elegant room.

Tara blinked and muttered, "Wow... Aaron... It's beautiful..." She smiled softly and muttered, "I'm sorry I left before."

Aron nodded. He kept silent. His feet carried him over to bedside table and picked up a picture of his mother and father smiling. It looked as if they were at a fair or carnival. A small tear fell onto the glass protecting the nostalgic picture. He hadn't cried about his parents since that sad, depressing day when they had died from a copper bullet.

Tara came up behind Aaron and wrapped her arms around his waist, "Hey..." She whispered, "At least they died knowing you had someone to take care of you... mainly me." She grinned softly and kissed Aaron's cheek. "I love you, that's all that matters Aaron."

Aaron smiled weakly. "Yeah... You're right. Just don't make me go back to my Aunt and Uncles..." He whispered. "If you like this room so much it can be ours if you wanted..."

Tara smiled largely but then let it fall, "Only If you want, I'm a guest, this is your home, you could put me in a corner and I wouldn't mind." She brushed back her hair and laughed, "Trust me.. If It's up to me if you ever see your Aunt and Uncle again, I don't think you ever will."

"Thank you. They're er- to normal for my liking..." Aaron stated and turned around. He walked out of the room and into the elegant hall. "I'm not rich, just so you know. This was all inheritated from my parent's friend..." He confirmed.
