= JointClan = Part 7- Returning trouble

Shadowheart came bounding up, nearly shoving poor Bashwind aside. "HOw'd you get out?" He gasped, purring.

Grasstail grinned. "A secret!"

Shadowheart purred, rolling his eyes. "I'm just glad your back. Whatever happened to Moonshadow?"

"I've got an eye on her!" Moonshadow yelled, sitting at the Mellowclan border. He smiled and said, "I owed her."

Grasstail purred. "Found his soft spot." She chuckled. THen she noticed Bloodstar. "Ah. Wingclaw?" She sunnerized.

Branch didn't speak, but stared at everyone from the shadows. She was depressed. xD

Wolf nodded. "Yeah, Wingclaw."

Kira walked over to Branch. "Hey, why you so down?" He asked.

((Uhm, yeah. That's all I say))

Branch looked at Kira. "Well, my brother's dead, for one. And two, well.. Nobody seems to want me in this Clan except Wingclaw, Fernstar and you and Wolf." She grinned. feebly.

"Can you keep a secret? And I don't know if you'll get mad or not. But when Wingclaw was still Bloodstar, he was going to test Wolf's loyalty to Bloodclan by killing you. BUt Wolf refused. So even though only three want you alive, they are such good friends, it's not even near the other cats here. We'll protect you from the others, or at lest I will," Kira explained.

Branch looked up, and looked at Kira. "Bloodstar told Wolf to kill me, and he refused?" Branch smiled, glancing at Kira. "Thank you so much, Kira." She smiled and purred, and bounded over to stand by Wolf.
They both smiled. It was sort of obvious they liked each other. (xD)

Kira followed Branch to Wolf, standing at Branch's other side. He saw the two smile and had no other choice but to follow the expression. "So, what d'ya wanna do?" Kira asked the two.

Branch looked at her two friends. "Well, I think that when we see Wingclaw we should ask if we can have warrior names!" She declared. "I mean, we are old enough."

"I guess we are," Kira admitted, looking at the ground. He perked up his head and asked, "How about you Wolf?"

"I'm all for the idea!" Wolf said excitedly. "I wonder what our names will be.." He said, trying to come up with names for himself. "What'd you think they'll call you, Kira?" He asked.

"I dunno. I never thought I would be called anything else," Kira admitted. "How about you two? what will your second part of your name be?"

Branch looked thoughtful for a moment. "Well, I think Branchleaf sounds kinda cool." She grinned, and then looked to Wolf.
Wolf shrugged. "For some reason, Wolfheart sounds awesome for me." He said, almost gruffly.

Kira laughed on the inside for no reason. "Well, let's figure out. Ready?" He aked the two.

"Yeah!" They said in unison. "Let's go find Wingclaw!"

Kira nodded and started looking for Wingclaw, hoping he would approve of Branch's request.

((How old are we exactly? XD))

((Hmm.. Good question. xDD Well, I'd say about maybe 12 or 13 moons? That means they trained for 6 or 7 moons..? xDD))

Branch and Wolf both got the idea that Wingclaw was probably busy, or somewhere with Fernstar. "Well, maybe we could go hunt or something, while we wait for Wingclaw..?" Wolf suggested. "We have to get used to the new territory, anyways," He pointed out.

"Well, I'm just followin' you guys, so whatever you want," Kira explained.

Branch shrugged, "Fine by me, since I've been here longest, I'll lead." She said, getting in front. Wolf stood on her right, and then Kira was at her left. "Let's go!" She bounded into the forest. She stopped after a few minutes, and looked around. "Alright, let's try and catch something." She said, and sniffed the air again. She crouched low, and signaled for Kira and Wolf to be quiet or else. xD She pounced into the undergrowth suddenly, and came out with a mouse proudly in her jaws.
Wolf looked up at a tree branch, and was still and silent. Then, as a small bird was taking off, he sprinted to the nearest tree, and used that to spring into the air, snagging his claws into the bird. He gave a quick bite to the neck, and landed back down on the ground with prey in his jaws. He grinned. "Your turn, Kira!" He said.

Kira nodded and sneakeed around a bit until he found a plump mouse. It was too fat to move faster than him and he impaled in with his nail. "Well, lucky me, huh?" He smiled.

Wolf grinned, "Back to camp we go!" He cheered, grinning, and they all padded back to camp.

"D'ya think he's ready now?" Kira asked. It's weird how he's so unready for this, yet he was the only person asking when to do it.
