COMPUTER FRIENDS 3 - THE SEQUEL TO THE SEQUEL

Preface

August. The month, the very last month of summer and the very last month I'll be with Vixen. Well, I guess we'll see each other on RPC, and if I get called on a mission but I've gotten into so much trouble, I don't see any chance of that happening. August, the month has been waiting and lurking, ready for ambush. I don't want to leave, I don't want alot of things to happen right now. I don't want my parents to get a divorce, I don't want this vacation to end.. Plus, to add to it, I'm really homesick. I moved from Seattle, down into some rinky-dink tiny town and I miss my friends from Seattle. Maybe one of them, if not all three of them.. No, it couldn't be. It wouldn't be, they would've told me, or would they have? I mean, nobody really knows about us 'cept the other agents and the people that we stop, right? Must.. Not.. Think.. About.. Seattle.. Anyways, August, I hate the stupid month. At least I don't need to go school shopping, we did that early this year, for once. Gotta go, Runa, Jake, Vixen and I are going down to the restaurant for dinner.. See you soon, I hope. August will be interesting, or at least I hope. I aim to make the most of it.

Chapter 1

My head was buzzing at the thought, what if it was true? Could my friends from Seattle, like, really be agents? I didn't think about anything, other then finding them. I didn't think that if it was true, that it would interfere with me and Vixen's friendship or anything.Runa and Jake were out, at the Arcade like every night, and it was just Vixen and I. "Is there a way to look up other agents, by name?" I asked suddenly, Vixen looked a little taken aback, but nodded. "Yes, do you want to?" I nodded enthusiastically, and she looked a little confused, but shrugged, and pulled out a laptop. She went onto a website, typing a lot of numbers and letters, and pulled up a agent name search.
I first typed in Sophia Jones, and realized that it even showed a picture, so I knew immediately that it was my Sophia. I searched up Jason, and grinned as I saw he was a agent too. I would contact them as soon as possible. I also saw another name on the list of J's, Jay. Jay was a kid that was in my class the previous year, and we loathed each other. I literally growled, and clicked on Jason and Sophia's profile, they weren't on any missions. I smiled, it gave me comfort to know that I could contact them. Vixen was watching me quietly. "Why did you want to see thoughs people?" She asked.
"They were my friends, are my friends, from Seattle." I said, and clicked a button to email them. I emailed them, and they replied back, happy to hear from me. They were actually in Canada, and were gonna come over as soon as possible to the hotel to see me. I felt overjoyed, and couldn't help grinning to myself. "Sophia and Jason are gonna be at the hotel!" I said to Vixen, and she smiled. To me, the smile looked a bit fake, but I brushed it off quickly, and smiled back at her. We heard a knock at the door, and I leaped up to answer it. "ANNABELLE!" Jason and Sophia ambushed me, hugs and laughter. They were taller, and had longer hair. They were as tan as ever, strangely, even in the raininess and wetness of Seattle a few managed to stay tan all year 'round. "Oh my goodness! I can't believe this." I introduced Vixen to them, and Sophia, Jason and I sat down, starting to talk, laugh and catch up. Vixen slipped away, feeling a little left out. Naturally, I felt bad, and got up to go talk to her but Sophia and Jason pulled me down, starting to tell a story.
Runa and Jake came back later that night, and I introduced them. We all went to bed, and I had a nightmare and dreamless night for once. It was amazing, to feel almost, normal, again. No agent stuff, normal RPC, and being back in Seattle. I awoke the next morning, a little dazed and quite tired. Jason, Sophia and I had stayed up late into the night talking and chattering away. Runa and Jake were up, and same with Jason and Sophia, but none of us saw Vixen. I felt a scared, chilling feeling settle into the pit of my stomach. Vixen had been kidnapped.

Chapter 2

"Wait, wait, WAIT!" I said to Runa, as she was ready to bust down the door and go looking for Alwein. Runa looked at me with wide eyes. Jake backed up, he didn't wanna be in this particular agruement. I sat Runa down. "WAIT? I NEED TO GO GET A MACHINE GUN AN-" I rolled my eyes and laughed, cutting her off in mid-rant. "Listen, Runa, I don't think it was Alwein." I explained, and pulled up the agent site. There was no reports of Alwein or anything, nothing about him anywhere. Runa looked at me, puzzled, "Then who?" She asked.
"I don't know, but there is a notice that someone tried to destroy head quarters.. That means.." I trailed off, looking to Runa to finish my sentence. Runa's face darkened. "A AGENT?" She demanded, and I nodded. It had to be, but who? I had never been enemy's from the agency, and as far as I knew neither had Vixen, Runa or Jake. "How could this.. Who would..?" Runa thought aloud. I was as puzzled and confused as the next person.
A suddenly saw a note being slipped under the door, and grabbed it. I read it in my head first, and froze, pale and horrorstruck. Runa took it from me, and read it aloud. "I have Vixen. You'll never catch me, not in a million years. Signed, Jay?" She said puzzled, and looked to my horrified face. I turned suddenly to her. "Guess like Seattle's coming to haunt me, I know Jay. We hated each other at school, he wants revenge." I explained.

Chapter 3

"A kid?" Runa scoffed. I, being younger then Runa, had obviously, younger friends. I nodded, but she didn't look like she believed me much. "I'm serious, Runa, this is SERIOUS. He.. He's really clever, and heck of a lot smarter then Alwein." I said.
"We have to work together if we're gonna get Vixen back," I said to every person in the room.
Jacob looked at me. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go kick some butt!" He declared, and we all grinned at one another. Agent time.

A while later, we were mulling around the lobby, in normal clothes, or so it seemed. We all had walkie-talkies on us, and we all knew fighting moves to defend outselves if necessary. The only thing was, nobody knew Jay like I did, nobody at all. We were always competing, for smarts, or who could outsmart the other. He had probably been an agent a year or two before us.
I WAS SO TELLING THE SCHOOL THAT THE KARATE MOVES HE DID IN THE TALENT SHOW WERE NOT KARATE MOVES! Anyways, I needed to focus. We all split up, and then we were all on our own.
We were getting Vixen, or if you'd rather call her Lauren, back if it was the last thing I'd ever do. Jay wasn't going to get the best of me. I knew he liked to play mind games, trick people, seem like he didn't have any brute strength. He did, take it from me, he did, Suddenly, I heard buzzing on the end of my walkie talkie. It wasn't Runa, Jake, Jason or Sophia at all. It was Jay.
"Come to the arcade, step on a slightly turned tile, and come alone, or your little friend will pay the price." He threatened. I gulped, obviously not into the walkie talkie.
"I'm coming." I whispered.

Chapter 4

I looked around, making sure Runa, Jake, Jason or Sophia couldn't see me. I walked into the arcade, and sure enough, a few steps in there was a slightly turned tile. I stepped on it lightly, and felt myself fall and slide down a HUGE slide,, and then landing on the ground, hard ground. I got up, and saw Jay stepped in a chair, with a huge computer screen in front of him. It was on Runa, Jake, Jason, Sophia, all of them, except me.
"Well, well, well." Jay said, coming to meet me. He smirked at me, pleased with himself.

"Alright, where is Vixen?" I demanded. My face was angry, and he could tell. Thing is, he was way stronger, faster and probably smarter then me. He shook his finger, "Not yet, not yet, little girly." He said, towering over me. I swear, I hate my parents for being so short. He shoved me against a wall,a nd I slide to the ground. Ow. Gosh, he was WAYY stronger.

My vision clouded, but I knew I needed to stay awake. I couldn't black out, I couldn't let him kidnap me as well as Vixen. Jay came up and was about to gut me, and pretty hard,. That's when I saw the closet door open silently, and Vixen stepped out. She almost gasped, but managed to creep up behind Jay right as he was about to get me. Vixen slammed her fist into the side of his face, and turned to me.

"Get up, and you know what? You so owe me, you so owe me, but thats what friends are for I guess." She grinned, and I hugged her tightly.

"Thats what BEST FRIENDS are for." I corrected.

Chapter 5

"We have to deal with Jay first," Vixen said, and I nodded, we stopped hugging each other. We both looked away, looking for some rope of some kind to deal with Jay. If we hadn't turned, we could've noticed the fluttering of Jay's eyes. We could've noticed that he was faking. We turned back around, and Jay was ready to get us.

"MY TURN!" I shouted, and got the side of his face again, like Vixen had. Jay fell backwards, stumbling over the chair near his computer. The whole thing turned off, and we were in pitch black darkness. We tied him up, and walked out of his creepy lair. We emearged in the arcade where Runa and Jake stood, waiting. "We're not stupid, ya know." Jake said, rolling his eyes. "Jason and Sophia had to leave on another mission." Runa explained.

We called the agency, and they picked Jay up. "I AM SO GETTING YOU BACK! PUDDING!" He called, snarling,.
Vixen, Runa and Jake turned to me. "PUDDING?" They asked. I turned a BRILLIANT shade of red. "I'll tell you about it later.. LONG story.." I muttered while they laughed.

Chapter 6

Its the end of the summer, and Runa, Jake, and all of them have left. But you'll never guess what?
LAUREN IS MOVING IN NEXT DOOR! YAY!
The only thing is, she gets to annoy me by saying she's four months older. T.T xDD
This should be interesting, Agent life meet normal life. DUN DUN DUN. xDD
