Vinepaw troted after her mentor.

Cleverkit ourred and walked smilei doevr to his leader

"Then I ask you, Cleverkit, will you uphold and defend the warrior code, even as an apprentice yourself?"

"Okay!" Emeraldpaw said agreeably. She repeated the move, hesitantly pausing for a second before doing the flip, then slashing diagnally, almost losing her balance with the slash, but twisted her tail in time to get back on her feet. She turned to Firechaser and panted, huskily saying, "How was that?"

Cleverkit noddded,purring and smilied.

"Stormpelt. You were an excellent mentor to Tigerheart. But now you have a new apprentice. Cleverkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Cleverpaw."

Firechaser nodded. "Great! Remember, without an actual cat to claw, whenever you practice, keep your eye on something solid. But now, try it on me."

Cleverkit smilied and touched noses.
