Owlfeather glanced around. He'd just woken up and he could feel the itchy scraps of moss clinging to his fur. He stepped out of the warriors' den and began to groom, combing his pelt till the last burr was gone. Pleased with his appearance, he padded to the fresh-kill pile, and, choosing a small vole, ate.

((NightPaw and GingerSky, you're in! Now who wantstoRP?))

Owlfeather finished his vole and looked up. "Miststar?" he meowed loudly. "Can I go out hunting?" He licked his whiskers, wrapping his tail neatly around his paws.

((what did nightpaw sign up for? med. or just a normal apprintice?))))

((Nanook: Riverstream or Juniperleaf or Owlfeather should be his mentor, if it's okay with Taylor.))

Riverstream walked around the borders, sometimes stopping to freshen old markers.

(Oh, yah, I should make a mentor list. Well, the deputy should be the first deputy. I'llmake the list now.)

MistStar padded out of her den and looked around, pawing sleepfrom her eyes. "Hello? Anyone here?" I asked as I looked around.

JuniperLeaf ran out of the warriors den. "Hey, MistStar! What needs to be done?" he asked.

(Hey guys, if anyone wants to make another charrie, we need lots of apprentices and queens!)

(Yep, RiverStream is mentor!! And NightPaw is normal Apprentice. We fon't have a med. cat app. yet)

((This'll be awkward for me...but I'll play a queen. See, only once have I played a she before. :s It really is awkward, since I'm a guy, but...I'll do it. For the Clan! MistStar looked past JuniperLeaf and to OwlFeather. "Go climb up a tree, JuniperLeaf! I want to get to know the clan, you should do the same!" she growled, annoyed, and went over to OwlFeather. "Hello, you must be new in my clan. I am MistStar, the leader." she smiled.

JuniperLeaf growled and left to find another cat that wasn't near the grumpy MistStar.

Owlfeather stared at Miststar. "Yes, remember? I'm part of your Clan. May I go hunting now?" He shifted weight on his paws impatiently.

Ashpaw woke up suddenly, aware of the dry moss dangling from his pelt. He padded out of the apprentice den, feeling lonely. He was the only apprentice besides Nightpaw, and Nightpaw was never around to talk to!
