Blankfeather lowered her head and gathered the kits beside her. Now that her kits were older- she could take care of Sandfur's kits.

BirchKit was still in the familiar meadow. "How do I know this place?" he murmered. "How do I know?"

JuniperLeaf ran over to AshPaw. "Where's the kits?" he hissed. "You left them with the wolf??"

JuniperLeaf growled, "Good! Now, where's SandFur's body? We need to bury it.

JuniperLeaf nodded and turned to BlankFeather. "Uh, BlankFeather? Where's BirchPaw??" he growled. "He's practically a kit! He can't be out there! WHY'D HE LEAVE!" he howled.

JuniperLeaf hissed, "But you let him go! WITH THOSE WOLVES!! He can't survive! You barely did! He's not old enough to take care of himself!" he growled, snatching his kits from her.

JuniperLeaf held all the kits at his sides and groomed them each in turn.
