Stormclaw looked at the sky, feeling happy. He was mates with what seemed like the best female ever, his best friend. He would still have to mentor Frostpaw though, but the apprentices were due to become warriors anytime, so not for long.

But wait, he still had to mentor FrostPaw, it won't be so long though. I'm sure it would go by fast with him. "Wanna go hunting real quick? Maybe a challenge?" I gave a smile, and started to look for the biggest cetch.

"Your on!" Stormclaw grinned playfully, and plunged into the trees fearlessly, sniffing and listening for prey scents.

The kill pile was gonna get alot bigger in a few minutes.

Stormclaw caught a few things, a plump shrew, a few mice, and a vole. It took a little time, but he managed too. He knew Autumnleaf was the best hunter in the Clan, and he couldn't compete with her well/

I wanted my mate to win, I purposely spotted an elk, and brought it out for him, but instead, I went for a blue jay like it was 7 elks caught at once.

Stormclaw looked at Autumnleaf catching at blue jay. "Don't let me win," He said, smiling slightly.

I killed the blue jay and went back over to the elk, I saw one other elk, and killed it too, in 15 minutes, I had killed three mice, 2 rabbits, 2 elks, 4 birds, one vole, and three shrews.

Stormclaw tried not to stare. "You win." He said, eyes wide.

AutumnLeaf looked over, "We can share an elk. I m-mean, if you want.." It was hard not to stare, I mean I would stare!

"Of course." Stormclaw smiled. He looked at his mate. "You can have the first bite," He offered.

I took the first bite, it was delicious, the rest of the kill we both did we put in the pile. The elk was so tasty, I wondered what Greystripe was doing?

Since Stormclaw wasn't around, Featherpaw slipped out of the camp, unnoticed. She was padding near the lake, but didn't notice anything. Since Stormclaw had been so busy with his new mate lately, Featherpaw had lots of free time. She was padding, and then smacked into something big, gray, and furry.

I turned around seeing a apprentice, shouldn't they be training right now? I looked down and helped the little one up.

"I-I'm sorry!" Featherpaw said, getting up.

"Aren't you supossed to be with your mentor?" I asked her, and wondered what my sister was doing. It was almost dusk, when I was suppossed to meet AutumnLeaf at the lake.

Featherpaw looked at the ground. "Yes."
Almost dusk, Stormclaw noticed. "No problem," He replied.
