Jake walked wuietly through the school with his books. He sighed almost silently and ruffled his hair, than pulled a hat onto his head, knowing he was aloud.

Runa kept her head down as she flipped some pages in her history book studing for net period.

Jake glance upfrom the floor and saw Runa. He grinned and walked over to where she was, "Hey Runa!"

(Sure! Instead of you know popular falls in love with unpopular.)

"Oh, hey Jake! I missed you this morning," She said smiling, if only he knew the hidden meaning.

(You never replied on CB. I checked.)

(I didn't...? I'll go check...)

"Yah, I drove today, because I slept in, sorry I couldn't walk with you! I missed you all during this morning, too, but you've probably been as busy as I..." Jake sad, blushing a bit and looking down. Wouldshe ever feel how he did...?

"Not really," Runa said keeping her real emotions under control. She smiled slightly and said, "I walked this morning, it was pretty cold."

Jake nodded slightly,a little confused. He frowned and looked up, and gazed seriously into her eyes, "Runa... H-have you been avoiding me...?" he aske. "I've barely seen you for weeks...."

Runa gulped, "N-No. Why would you think that." Her voice cracked at the end and she looked down at the floor.

Jake saw right through her. "Y-you have been..." his eyes filled with hurt and he turned away.

"No, JAKE!" She said looking up and moving in front of him, "It's complicated."

Jake turned his gaze away from her, his heart felt broken.... "How...?" he said so silently, he almost only mouthed it.

"I said It's complicated..." Runa said looking at Jake.

Jake looked up, tears forming in his eyes, "Tell me anyways! If you really cared you'd find a way!" he almost yelled, and luckily the halls were empty.

Runa started to sob. "Jake!" She wailed while runnning toward the door.

Jake fell against the wall, his hands on his face, and started to cry. She obviously didn't love him...

Runa colasped before reaching the door. She had fainted against the wall and her head hit the floor with a bang.

Jake heard a bang and looked up, than saw her. Slowly he got up and walked over, "R-runa??"

Runa's eyes fluttered, "W-What happened?" She asked faintly.

"I-I don't know..." Jak murmered.

(Wont reply fast, making one of those "do you know me" quizzes.)

Runa shook her head a little, "Jake, I just wanted to tell you that I-I L-L-Love Y-Y-Y-Y-You."

(sorry, was eating supper)

Jake helped her up, "I-I love you, too..."
