Valia~Book 1: A Princess's tale

Runa turned her head away not wanting to look at Jake. "Do you have any more wounds?" She asked again putting her hands under Jake to feel if there was any on his back.

OOC;// Ohh.. Right =D Any of those is fine.

BIC;// Jessica walked around the town, desperate to finally get her errands outof the way so she could do something else.

Jake closed his eyes, emotional pain filling his body "Runa, just..." tears rlled down his cheeks... She obviously didn't feel comfortable enough to tell him.. Or... did she just not love him...? he sighed and started to loudly cry.

Runa took her hand out from under Jake, afraid she was hurting him. She backed away from his bed and ran out the room tears streaming down her eyes as she went back into her room where Eamon was still there.

Jake got up and ran after her, not caring about the pain. He ran up to her, hurt in his eyes... But, deep under all the emotional hurt, there was more love than ever. "I'm sorry if I ever... did something wrong... But I really love you and I want to know whats wrong!" His whole body aching, he limped over to the bed and sat down so he coul atleast rest his body.

Runa cried under her covers. She was curled up in tight ball sobbing. She hated her life. Runa wished that sometimes it could just be planned out for her. She sobbed louder and curled tighter in the ball.

Jake started tosob as well, "Great! The first girl I ever wanted to spend my life with because I truly love her and she's the best thing that ever happened to me, and she hates me!" he stood up and painfully limped back to his room. He lied down and sobbed more than he ever had before...

Jessica knocked on Runa's door, "Runa? Its me, Jessica. Can I come in?" She asked, trying to sound as kind as she could.

Runa didn't care anymore. She just wanted to die, or fight, or something! She ran out of her room; hair matted with blood; cuts bleeding; and ran down to the stables. She jumped on Rani and ran into the forest, daring anyone to attack her. She tied Rani to a tree and walked down a near-by path. She went blank.

Runa woke up in a cottage. She was frantic. She tried to get up but a hand pushed her back down. She looked up to see an Elf tending to her wounds. She gasped and stared at the Elf, Runa thought they were just in myths. The elf smiled and said something in Elvish to a near-by elf Runa hadn't noticed. The Elf knelt down to Runa and said in a thick accent, "You were very hurt when I found you lying on the ground. What is your name?" Runa looked up at the elf and said, "I-I am Runa, Princess of Valia." The elf smiled and swabbed Runa's bleeding head. "I am Zenali, A wood elf."

Jake tried not to listen to the outside world and wanted to shrivel up and die! But, he could hear Runa crying and running off, so, no matter hat his body said to him, he raced after her. "RUNA!!" he sobbed.

(Ugh! I gotta go... Be back in 30-60 min!)

Eamon saw Runa sobbing and running away from the castle. He opened the window, jumped out, and started racing toward Runa. "Runa!" He yelled, his arm reached out for her hand.

((I just thought. Could that reflect on the dream?))

Jake was already standing beside her,hugging her tightly, "Runa! Runa I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do whatever I did! Just..." his words were cut off my sobs coming from him.

Eamon found Runa shortly after he called her name. He saw Jake holding her. "Thank you" He said and took Runa out of his arms. "Are you ok?" HE asked Runa and Jake at the same time.

Jake frowned and stood close to Runa, "She's... Blacked out I think..." he tried to be nice to Eamon, but it was hard!

"THanks again," He thanked. He relized the frown on his face. "Here, you want her back. Sorry for being selfish. I don't want to." He gave Runa's blacked-out body back to Jake.

"I-I just love her more than you could ever imagine and I need her... I know it all sounds cheesey, but I don't know what I'ddo without her..." tears rolled down his cheek, knowing that Eamon would win Runa over. He picked up Runa wedding style and they headed back to the castle..

"Yeah, hope you win," He muttered. I can't win over Jake. Runa loves him more than me. He thought as he climbed up back into his room from the still open window. He pulled the covers over his face and slowly drifted to sleep, thinking about Runa...

Jared sadly watched Jake carry Runa and Eamon watch too. One of those two are going to win. He thought. She never is able to talk to me alone, unlike Jake and Eamon

Runa woke up in Jake's arms. The Elf thing must have been a dream. It had felt so real though. Her body was covered in blood and she was light-headed from all the blood-loss. She smiled faintly up at Jake then noticed Jared watching them. She felt bad because she never talked to him anymore. Runa tried to get out of Jake's arms but she was to weak. She wondered where Eamon was, she missed him.

Jake smiled faintly at her, "You should be getting home..." he murmered, his body aching... But he cared more about her than himself. A sharp pain shot through his body, "Owww!!!" he said and flinched, but din't stopas he carried her to her room and set her in her bed.
