Valia~Book 1: A Princess's tale

Jared went u the castle stairs, through a window he saw Eamon limping. He rushed up to Runa.

"Sorry," Eamon appologized, "I'm just happy to see you alive. I'll go back now." He saw the bleeding gash. "Here's the extra bandadge, just in case." He threw her the shirt and limped back to his room. Don't, don't, don't! He thought, but he still shed a tear. he threw his fist against the floor, but soft enough so that Runa wouldn't hear it. She felt bad enough.

Runa held her side, it was bleeding servely now. She was getting paler by the second.

Jared walked in a gasped. "What happed?!" He said horrfied. He saw her getting paler by the minute!

"Well," Runa managed out, "We, me and Eamon, were ambushed by Bandits."

((Remeber the shirt))

((I know, but she can't exactly put it on when Jared's in her room and she has a gash that needs tending to.))

He rushed to her side. "Well, I have had practice." He informed her. "First, you will need something to clean that blood."

"Eamon," She managed out again, "Help him, not me."

((The shirt is for the gash, like a cloth bain-aid))

((As I said before, I know but they have actually bandages in the castle.))

"I will, but you first." He wiped the gushing blood. "Now we need a bandge." He said. "I'll go check on Eamon quickly too." He added and rushed out the door.

Runa kept the covers over her as she slowly got up to get a little something on. She stumbled on the trailing cover and fell. Crud, she thought. She had fallen out of the cover. She ran to her closet and grabbed a random shirt.

((Oh. I thought you mean the OTHER put it on... sowwy))

Eamon saw Jared running past his door. He felt liquid coming down his back as he grew somewhat paler.

Runa tried to get the stupid shirt on but it hurt evertime she moved. She gave up and grabbed some cover wrapping it around her.

jared stumbled into Eamon's room. "Are you o.k?" He asked.

Eamon gasped as he felt blood touch his hand. "I don't know!" He gasped as he tried to stop the bleeding with his hands. It wasn't working.

Runa stumbled around in her room. She thought it was taking to long for Eamon and became worried. She went as fast as she could down to his room and stumbled in, forgetting that all she had on was some pants and a cover.

"Runa, you might want to get out of here now!" He yelled in pain. He couldn't imagine anything like this. It was like a fireball leaking out of his back, so painful.

Runa rushed over to him. The sheet whirled around her as she knelt down ignoring her own pain as she attended to Eamon's.

Eamon tried to hold back his tears of pain as Runa rushed to him, but it was to powerful. He felt numb, though the blood was coming out still. He closed his eyes, said, "Stupid me.", and fainted once again, on the floor.

Runa knelt down and fixed his wound. She cleaned it with water and wrapped gauze around it. She lifted him back up into his bed and covered him up. Runa wrapped herself in the cover that was drenched in blood from her side. She felt light headed and sat down on the bed for a second, before colasping on it.

Eamon was having a dream while he was fainted. He was in a shining meadow, filled with roses of many colors. He saw Runa there standing in the middle of them. Eamon walked toward her, but was brought his consciousness back. It seemed to be forever since he was "awake". He saw Runa next to him, suprisingly. He quickly put on some clothing he found and clean the room. He went out of the door and went on his way to find Jared.

"Runa, stop! You're hurt you can't be walking all the time." He was horrfied. He quikley gave up and helped Runa.

(Runa?)

"I'm fine, Jared. I just wanted to ask you if Runa was ok," Eamon explained. "Besides, you shouldn't have to worry about me."
