Eaglefeather was running torwards Rosefrost when he almost blundered into Foxfur. "Did you... fox?..." he panted.

Foxfur nodded, stunned. He shook himself. "We need to leave..." He said horrified.

Rosefrost bolted into a tree for her protection. She could see the fox by now.

Eaglefeather ran off, without waiting for Foxfur to reply. He couldn't let his sister be killed by a fox!

Foxfuur saw the fox, but he was to stunned to move. The hungery preditor towered over him.

Before the fox knew what was happening, Eaglefeather had already joined Rosefrost in the tree.

"Foxfur, C'mon!" Rosefrost hissed through barred fangs.

Foxfur didn't hear Rosefrost. Eaglefeather hit him too hard. He laid there dazed. The fox had him trapped.

[OKay, shocked then]

Rosefrost hissed. "He's dazed," she meowed. "We have to kill the fox before the fox kills him."

"Okay... three... two... one..."

Rosefrost and Eaglefeather launched themselves in attack at the fox.

Foxfur laid there, not knowing anything

Rosefrost battered the fox's flank with her unsheathed claws.

Eaglefeather, like a flash of lightning, jumped at the fox's neck, attempting to dig his fangs into its neck.

THe fox growled and threw Rosefrost off. It yelped at Eaglefeather and tried shaking him off.

[color=darkred]Foxfur woke up. Seeing that moment. He rushed to Rosefrost making sure she was alright.

Eaglefeather hung on tigher, using his claws more this time. He dug his fangs in deeper.

Rosefrost shook off the unconsiousness, jumping to her paws. "We have to help Eaglefeather!"

Foxfur nodded and ran full speed at the fox.

Rosefrost continued battering its flank, trying to hold out for Eaglefeather.

The fox fell and suddenly went limp...dead.

Foxfur started to pant.

Rosefrost stopped the battering, and dropped down to the ground.
Eaglefeather let go of the fox's neck. "Rosefrost, Foxfur, before I scented the fox I found a stream of freshwater. If you can make it, it will help you re-gain your energy."

Foxfur nodded. Then looked at Rosefrost. "Will she be o.k?" He asked.

"Yeah, she's just over-exhausted."

"I'm... fine," Rosefrost panted, getting up to her paws. "Lead the way to the water, Eaglefeather."

Foxfur started after Eaglefeather. He really wanted to tell Rosefrost something, and sighed.

"Here, Foxfur, help me support Rosefrost," Eaglefeather meowed, flicking his tail.

Rosefrost wanted to protest, but she knew that it would be no use.

Foxfur went over to help.

Rosefrost stumbled around the forest, only the fact that she would get water was driving her.

Foxfur looked ahead despretly wanting water.

Eaglefeather approached the stream. "Here," he meowed to Rosefrost and Foxfur, leaning over to drink for himself.

Rosefrost gladly took a couple of sips of the icy water.
