"What do you use for the herbs?" Speckleheart Jadepaw's mentor quizzed

((Nanook I don't think she's your apprentince yet, but after this she will be))

"That's the medicine cat's job," he pointed out. "But I suppose I can't stop you from helping a queen. You'll find everything you need in the medicine cat den." Dogstar flicked his tail torwards it.

"Okay. Thank you." I started to help the queen over to the den. "Excuse me, but you happen to have some borage?" I asked to cat in front of me.

"Oh yes what's the matter?" Speckleheart mewed getting a mouthful of Borage leaves

"She is a queen. The size of her belly suggest that the kits should come in a quarter moon." I mewed

I turned to the queen. "What's your name?" I asked.

I smiled. "Well Shadowpelt," I mewed. "You wouldn't mind eating this?" I handed her the chewed up borage.

I nodded. Walking over to the herb storage area, I asked, "Wow, you are really ready if anything happens."

"What's the matter?" Speckleheart mewed coming into the nursery

I was shocked. "They threw you out when you had unborn kits?" i turned to Speckleheart with an appalled look on my face. "They killed her mate!" I looked back at Shadowpelt. "Well, all I have to ask is why?"

"You did a good job with the Borage leaves!" Speckleheart praised "I'm sorry to hear that Shadowheart!"

I purred. "Well I have been learning about herbs my entire life."

"Let me go do something I'll be back!" Sparkleheart mewed moving out of the nursery.
"Dogstar are you here?" Sparkleheart mewed walking into there leaders den.

I felt my mouth drop open. "That's terrible!"

"Dogstar the new apprenticed aged she-cat is great with Herbs and roots! I was wondering if you could make her my apprentice I need one!" Sparkleheart blurted out
