Children are so naive sometimes. No, scratch that, all the time.

However, I think we've done a nice job.

Oh, forgive me, I've forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Mort. Yeah, lame name, I know, but I live. Somehow.

Anyway, I'm suppose to fess up about what the government did? Fine. But I won't like it.

Anyway, this is how it all began...


A few years ago, the President of the United States of America announced to the Cabinet that they had run out of personal for the country. However, at that moment, a few scientists from the lab came bursting through. He dismissed me and the rest of the group out, but I heard that the lab rats had created a time machine. Pssh, a time machine? Highly unlikely.

Moving on.

The President then called together his remaining agents (the rest were out on missions or at war), which included myself, to go ahead and use the new time machine, which had not been discovered yet, to find some child agents. This is because they would grow up to know the stuff and be the best. Also, due to recent discoveries (c'mon, the future's the future) they have gain certain, well, "gifts." And so we did. We found seven of them, each with there own names and personalities, but all one hobby; They loved to write. Some more than others, but still. It was for this reason that I created Role Play Central. Look, it was free and it would bring them together. When do we plan on telling them that they are all part of some plan? That's a very good question... How about I tell you about these kids?

First we have Doubt. No, his name is not actually Doubt, it's just his parents had trouble with his real name, and that might give the whole foster thing away. Doubt was found in Ancient India, we couldn't exactly locate where he was in present day. Anyway, his gift was being able to talk to animals and insects and plants and stuff. You see, in India, they have this ritual where the shamin goes ahead and does this ceremony thing for their religion, but they couldn't tell how the gods, which were represented by animals, wanted to be pleased. This is where Doubt comes in. He was able to tell them all this stuff that the animals wanted him to say. It was sorta bitter-sweet, lying to guys about fake gods to be recognized for your talents. However, this is classified information, and I can't give it all away.

Then there's Rella and Tello. When we found these two, it was around the fall of Rome. They must've been street urchins, cause they were wearing rags for clothing and real dirty, but I guess all of Italy is pretty much like that, eh? You see, there real names meant brother and sister, which I assumed they were, seeing as they were almost completely identical. Their gift was they could shapeshift. However, they had to drink the blood of the thing before they could change into it. Don't ask how we know that. Through research, it was proven that some people have a gene in their DNA that allows them to copy something that they had bodily contact with. We call this the "copycat" gene, which is pretty creative, huh?

Moving on, we have Roux and Anima. They were found during Napoleon's reign in the heart of Paris. We assumed they we're of nobility, for they wore the finest gowns. We couldn't wait to get our hands on them. Now, these two have very interesting gifts. Roux, since her name is similar to rouge, has the ability of fire. However, Anima can control water. I personally refer to them as Yin and Yang, for obvious reasons. We have the least information on them, unfortunately.

Finally, we have Fry and Mark. I personally set out to find these two in a junkyard during the Great Depression in a Tennessee junkyard. Due to the fact that they were in America, we have the most information on these two. Fry and Mark ran a little gang on the streets in order to get money for food. Fry was very special, as he could control the flow of electricity, which was handy for hot-wiring cars. Mark... Well, we still have to find out about Mark. From what we have studied it appears that Mark just stays in Fry's shadow. Although a few of the boys in this gang are still alive, we have decided to not contact them. If they saw the boys while they were young, they would have heart attacks and strokes left and right. Eww.

Now, through new scientific technology, we have erased the memories of these kids and filled them with false ones, as well as surgically altering them to appear as normal American boys and girls. Can I go now? Cause I have to pee, and I will go on your floor. Up, theirs the dirt road calling. Thank you.
