Summer tried to lift herself up. She stared at Sam curiously.

"You okay?" Sam asked, biting his lip.

Summer nodded. "Whyyyyareyouhereeee?" She aked, her voice slurred and muffled.

"Because.. I can be?" Sam shrugged, "Because you got shot." Sam shuddered.
The doctor came in at that point, and glanced at Summer, "Oh! Good, Ms. Gannz, you're awake right on time. Your brother's been here since you first came in, five days ago.

Summer stopped. "MyWHAT?" She siad, rubbing her eyes. "Whathowlongg?"

"Calm down," The doctor laughed, putting her hand on Summer's shoulder, "I'll be right back," The doctor disappeared.
"You've been here five full days. This is the sixth," Sam explained, "They wouldn't let me in unless I said I was related to you,"

Summer frowned. "Well, you could ofwaittted." She said, her voice getting clearer.

Sam shrugged, "I didn't wanna."

Summer sighe dand flinched.

"You okay?" Sam immediately asked.

Summer rolled her eyes. "I was shot in the arm."

"You wouldn't move when I told you to," Sam muttered under his breath.

Summer scowled.

"It's true!" Sam muttered, grinning at her.

The doctor came back, scribbling down notes on a board, then giving Summer some medicine. "Here you go, sweetie, just drink this and then you can leave."

Summer coughed from the taste of te medicine. "Ick."

Sam looked up at the doctor, "She can go now?"
She nodded, "Yes, you guys can go, I'll go check you out of the room."

Summer stood up, clutching her arm slightly.

"Do you need any help?" Sam asked, biting his lip.

Summer shook her head.

Sam nodded, and walked out of the hospital with her.

Summer growled. "Gee."

Sam rolled his eyes.

Holly grinned at Summer as they came out of the hospital. "Ohmigosh, Summerrrr!"

Summer's eyes twinkled. "Hey guys."

Holly grinned, hugging the good side of Summer's body. "Ohmigoshhhh." Holly lowered her voice, "Sam was there for like, a week, almost. He wouldn't leave."

Summer nodded. "I've heard."
