Venom froze. "Silver. The silveridh tabby she cat who always defends you from me?" he asked, already knowing the answer.

Spottedmask started to have tears go down her face. "y-yes."

Venom licked her cheek. "It's fine. She can know, but your leader must not know..." he murmured between licks. "Dont cry."

Spottedmask put her head on Venom's paws. "Why can't Mintstar know?"

Venom sighed and put his head on her neck. "I can't take risks."

Spottedmask closed her eyes. "Venom?"

Venom purred. "Yes, Spottedmask?"

"You will stay with me right? I have a place for you to hide. I made a den behind the nursey for you to be there when I'm kitting." Spottedmask ask.

Venoms eyes lit up. "Yes! I shall be there! Can Darkclaw come....?"

Spottedmask nodded. "Yes because I don't want my clanmates to know when I'm kitting. So you and Darkclaw will have to help me get out of there."

Venom nodded as he gentley helped her up, letting her lean on him as he slowly took the easiest way down the rocks.

Spottedmask leaped on Venom. She slowly made her way down the rocks.

Venom reached the last of the rocks and paused at the edge of the thunderpath. "Hurry," he growled as a monster shot past and he crouched, waiting for Spottedmask.

Spottedmask half walked half jogged across the Thunderpath.

Venom stopped once they were safely across thunderpath and waiting in the undergrowth. "Lead the way."

"what about Darkclaw?" Spottedmask padded up to Venom.

Venom froze, he turned back toward thunderpath and raced across it. He came back, slowly this time, dragging a dark Frey Tom with him. He stopped. "Now let's go."

Spottedmask walked to the river and started to look for the shallow part where she crossed earlyer.

Silver fell from the tree, she sat up. "whaaaa....?"
