((I know. NO ONE has anything to do. Should we just start a new plot?))

(( Yeah, I know. I REALLY need something for.. Lionpaw and Smallpaw, and Wolfkit, and Bashkit, and Stripepelt to do SOMETHING. It's dead is what it is, dead I tell you. xDD WE NEED A PLOT! ))

(( I KNOW! Mellowstar comes looking for her kit, Bashkit, and then an all out attack starts, and EVERYBODY has to fight. Thing is, Larchheart and Fernstorm aren't even there yet..))

((Yeah... and then.... Brackenheart... darn i forgot DDD: ))

((Anyway, can we just say Larchheart went to the Mooncliff and THEN we can continue?))

(( Okay, coolio. xDD Well, 'cause Bashkit is SUPPOSED TO BE EVILISH. xDD How 'bout Mellowstar comes looking for Bashkit, while he is doing something very un-evilish, and Brackenheart smells Mellowstar FIRST! -SoSmart- xDD))

Mellowstar growled, and nodded to her other kits. "I'll be right back, Mommy will, okay?" She said. All the kits nodded obediantly. She crept over to JointClan camp, and peered through the darkness of the trees. She was seeing what in the WORLD Bashkit was doing. He was supposed to be back what seemed like AGES ago. Mellowstar gasped, when she saw what Bashkit was doing. He pounced at a butterfly in camp, and laughed, and clawed at a stray leaf. "I'll be a great warrior of JointClan!" He grinned, having no clue who or what was watching.

(( Uh.. Yeah. Lets skip the Mooncliff and SAY they went. Lets SAY they are back in camp. xDD ))

((YEahh... but can we at least post the nine lives? For a "in the past" type post, and then say they're back in camp?))

((Meanie. He tried to kill a BUTTERFLY! xD No, I'm just kidding.

Anyway, you could just make Larchheart remember getting her nine lives, and then Brackenheart senses Mellowstar.))

(OH NO! I forgot about teh kits. Yikes. Mind me. I'll join in again, WITH ONLY PUFFLEKIT.)

((That's fine.))

The cats all stepped back. Why were there only seven? Weren't there supposed to be eight so that she could have nine lives at the end? She already had some good ones, like caring, energy, leadership and compromise, but she was missing one.

The air seemed to solidify with stars. The final cat was coming. He had his head bowed, as if mourning. He was appearing right in front of her. The stars formed his pale white pelt, the gentle paws, and the impatient tail. The features of his face were only just visible, and then he revealed his ocean-blue eyes.

"B-Brackenheart? You're not dead!"

"But I was," he answered calmly. "I am qualified to present to you your ninth life."

She stared at him softly.

"Larchheart, I give you the gift of loyalty. It is a part of my own uncompromising loyalty that drove me to stay with the Clan. This will be your ninth life."

To her dismay and satisfaction, Brackenheart didn't move. "Larchheart, from this day till your last life drains you will be known as Larchstar. StarClan thanks you for your efforts."

Brackenheart leaned forward as he began to fade. "Meet me back down..." The quiet words whispered away and echoed with the wind. She realised that he had been the last one to leave.


Larchstar was awakened on the Mooncliff. The light shone in her face and bright blue eyes...


Larchstar looked at Bashkit. "Yes you will, little kit," she whispered with a smile, and gently tapped his head. "You could be deputy one day. But only if you work really hard."

(( Alright.))

Bashkit nodded. "I will!"

((Make Brackenheart smell Mellowstar already! xD

All right, I just need to remember... Raincloud's kits are Dawnkit, Duskkit, Spottedkit and Lightningkit. Pictures are in links, I'll have to draw one for Spottedkit))

Raincloud was fussing over her herbs in her den, meanwhile. Stripepelt was still buzzing in her mind; with Larchstar being leader, what would she do to Stripepelt now? The medicine cat didn't notice the presence of enemies near the camp; the scent of herbs was too strong, and overcame the scent of Mellowstar in her mouth and nose. It made Mellowstar smell like just another JointClan cat. Carefully, Raincloud swallowed a borage leaf as her kits nursed and played slightly. They were all pretty tired from the journey, even though they didn't walk.

Larchheart sniffed the air. "MellowClan," she mouthed silently, But where is it coming from?

Mellowstar snarled. "They are mutating him, I swear, JointClan your in for a surprise." She vowed, and crept closer, and closer to camp. She was getting HER kit back. And NOW. Mellowstar was near the entrance of there camp, watching from the shadows. She didn't like being like this, in the dark, and moved into more lighter areas where she still wasn't seen.

Brackenheart opened his mouth, and MellowClan scent instantly crashed into his nose. Over there. He turned and dashed towards the camp entrance.

Raincloud noticed one of the warriors with white fur race towards the entrance -- Brackenheart was his name, she remembered. "Is something urgent going on?" the gray she-cat asked, standing up and poking her head out of her den. That was when she began to smell the intruder. "Someone from MellowClan is here!" She yowled alarmingly, unsheathing her claws with her fur bristling and her eyes narrowed. She would defend her kits with her life no matter who it was, but if it was Mellowstar, she would finally be able to fulfill her promise and kill the leader.

Mellowstar appeared out of the shadows, and rolled her eyes. "Hey, hey, no need to get violent. Yet." Mellowstar said. She cast a look at Bashkit, who was quivering from head to toe. "I'm just here to take back MY kit." She snarled.

Brackenheart looked ready to fight. "We were going to ask you what you wanted, but you appear to have already answered that question."

If Larchstar had hands, she would facepalm. How was she supposed to take care of this problem?

"I won't hurt anyone," Mellowstar promised. "IF you give me my kit back, Bashkit, and NOW.' Mellowstar demanded, snarling the threat.

Raincloud glanced nervously at Bashkit, to see his reaction, and then at Larchstar. Both of their decisions would affect this situation. Even though Larchstar was the leader and hadn't given orders to attack, Raincloud felt her claws slide out involuntarily, blue eyes slightly narrowed. Her tail swished as she tried to calm herself, but the anger burned within her. At one point, Raincloud remembered. Mellowstar had killed Stripepelt. Raincloud did not take it for granted that Stripepelt was alive again, but she didn't want Mellowstar to kill him again.

Larchstar looked helpless and inconfident. "If he is your kit, then you may take him."

Mellowstar smiled. "Without the fool Branchstar, this is much easier then I would've imagined." She said, and prowled closer to Bashkit, getting closer to pick him up. Bashkit puffed up, suddenly filled with confidence. "No. I will not come with you. I am a kit of JointClan. I will be a apprentice, and even a warrior of JOINTCLAN." He snarled.

Raincloud swished her tail, with an sneer on her face. This sounded like a warrior of JointClan already! She was ready to fight if she had to, but she didn't know how she could tell Larchstar silently to let Raincloud kill Mellowstar. She tried to remind both Mellowstar and Larchstar what she had vowed by growling, "Remember, Mellowstar, if you show any hostility, I will not go back on my promise. I will fight as hard as I can, even if either of us are dead afterward." To keep herself from saying anything else, Raincloud bit her tongue inside her mouth. Mellowstar couldn't know that there was a prophecy, nor that she had earlier given birth to kits. Luckily, all of the kits were silent, and Raincloud was guarding them from view by standing in front of her den.

Larchstar raised an eyebrow. "Your loyalties sure changed, haven't they...?"

Mellowstar chuckled at Raincloud, turning her attention off of Bashkit for a moment. "Attack me, and Stripepelt will pay, possinly with his life. " She snarled, "Are you willing to risk that?" She taunted. Stripepelt, who had been lingering near Larchstar, and Brackenheart growled. "Leave Mellowstar. Bashkit chooses not to be with you," He said.
