Wolfkit looked at his mother. "I didn't even MEAN to! I just.. Yeah." He muttered. "And stop reading her thoughts, its.. CREEPY."

As night fell, Raincloud prodded Stripepelt gently on his shoulder. "Stripepelt, it's time we're going. We need to find a safer place to stay, and something to hunt." Her voice was a low whisper; she hoped no one was out looking for them.

Stripepelt nodded. " I agree, lets go." He slowly crept out of the barn type thing.

Rebecca wrote:: Ivy Thorn raised her eye brows, "I noticed you quoted part of the Nightmare, but why you would evesdrop on it, I am still wondering. I always thought my thoughts were personal, but now I know they never were and never will be."

Amberstar growled. "Wolfkit, you just lost my trust in you." She hissed. She flicked her tail and padded away, sending a thought to Wolfkit. I thought of a punishment. Your not becoming a warrior. If I die before that, I'll make sure you have a very bad life.

"I don't care. Your just driving your kin away, and thats its own punishment in itself." He snarled back in repsonse. He looked at Ivy helplessly. "I'm not becoming a warrior apparently, but I don't care. I can call myself whatever I want. I'm Wolfheart." He snarled.

Ivy Thorn's muzzle went into a hard line, "I'm sorry." She hissed in Amberstar's direction and then mewed, "I guess that means I'm not part of your clan."

Wolfheart, as Wolfkit now called himself, turn and faced Amberstar. His eyes were narrowed. "I see why Dad probably commited suicide." He muttered lowly, but loud enough for Amberstar to hear. He wanted to egg on a fight, he wanted one. His eyes glinted.

Amberstar narrowed his eyes. "You can fight. But don't try me. Wolfkit."

"Don't call me that name!" He snarled. "I'm Wolfheart," He growled. "C'mon, come and get me you sorry excuse for a cat! You call yourself a leader? Your hardly a mother!"

Ivy gasped, "Heart, Stop, please, I'm leaving, I should've never come, I ruined everything." She padded out of the den and towards the forest.

Wolfkit looked at her. "Don't go.. Please don't.. Don't go." He whispered, horrified with himself.

Ivy Thorn turned and mewed, "Then come with me. I'm offering you to come with me, I was thinking about maybe tracking your brother, if you don't mind, I want to have a brief discussion with him."

(Hope you don't mind...)

Raincloud looked up at the waxing moon, blinking and stretching slightly. "I'm kind of hungry. We should hunt." But she heard a Twoleg's pawsteps nearby, and signaled quickly to Stripepelt. "Quick, we have to run!" She stayed by his side...

((But if you start running, say she followed you.))

Brackenheart stayed low and silent. He didn't want to get a whole welcoming from the Clan.

((BUt eventually the news has to get to Larchheart... >D ))

Stripepelt nodded, Raincloud following, he took off at a sprint. The two-leg heard them, but Stripepelt was in the safety of the bushes by the time the two-lef turned around.

Wolfkit was dumb-struck. He was still so young, and last time they went off on their own.. He looked around at JointClan camp, and looked straight at Ivy. He shot after her, outta the camp, away from horrible memories, and didn't look back.

Raincloud dashed in behind him, and glanced again. "We need to get out of this maze of Twoleg nests," she said, taking a breath every few words. "But let's do it quietly and more sneaky," Turning around, she crept out of the bush and gazed around her. She could see trees straight ahead. "There might be another forest this way."

Stripepelt grinned, he was actually kinda enjoying himself. "Sneaky, got it." He said, and followed silently behind her. "Maybe, well, let's go!"

Raincloud, this time was tailing Stripepelt into the thicket of trees. A small fence was blocking their way, its white posts pointy at the top. But there were clearly trees on the other side.

In a gentle attempt to get over, Raincloud placed a paw on the horizontal part of the fence, then swiftly pulled herself up and over. If she weren't expecting kits, it would have been more graceful, but she managed. Landing with a bit of a wobble on the other side, she took a few more steps and then glanced over her shoulder for Stripepelt.

Stripepelt watched Raincloud climb over, a bit wobbly. He backed up, run, and flung himself over the fence. He landed beside Raincloud, on the tips of his toes. He shook out his fur, and looked around at the trees, feeling much more at home. "Much better," Stripepelt said.

Raincloud gazed out into the trees. "Now we need to find somewhere safe. And prey." She scented the air but failed to smell anything. "Let's go deeper," she recommended, wandering a bit further.

((I think I asked this before, but I think I missed the answer. How long has it been since the end of the last part again? xD))

Stripepelt sniffed the air, no prey scent came to him as well. "Somewhere safe, prey, got it." Stripepelt said, he just wanted Raincloud and him to feel safe for once, and then he would deal with the rest. He ventured further with Raincloud, very alert.

((Okay. Raincloud should have her kits soon.

The grey medicine cat continued, stopping for a moment when she thought a hare was in the bushes. For a moment, she gave a grunt, then asked, "Mind if you hunt? My stomach's beginning to hurt again... Maybe I'm just hungry..."

Stripepelt nodded, "No problem," He said. He sniffed the air, just to see. He caught a faint whiff of mouse. He grinned, and spotted it. He stalked it quietly, and pounced. The mouse was limp in his jaws, and he dropped it at Raincloud's feet. "Here 'ya go!" He said, smiling again.

"Thanks, she said," devouring it quickly. "I feel somewhat better now," she noted after pausing. Raincloud looked up thoughtfully, then buried the bones. "Now we need something for you to eat, and a safe place to rest."

Stripepelt hadn't really noticed his hunger, he was so set on finding a safe place for Raincloud. He nodded. "Yeah, let's go," He said. He started trotting further in, and the trees got thicker and thicker and thicker..
