Raincloud bared her fangs at Mellowstar as she left. Then she immediately padded up to Pufflekit, Amberkit and Bashkit. "You three were amazing! You're almost six moons old, right?" she praised, hinting that they should become apprentices soon. The gray medicine cat stared off into the direction in which Mellowstar had left, with a gaze the color of the sky. Whatever it took, she would kill that ruthless leader.

((Seriously, just don't kill Mellowstar without me, okay?))

Amberkit grinned at Raincloud, and nodded. "Yep, we're all about 6 moons old," Bashkit finished for her, not grinning. "Mellowstar's gonna be back though, I can promise you that," He said, concerned.

Raincloud dipped her head, but her expression was worried. Amberkit could probably tell that it was because she said Mellowstar would return. The medicine cat thought about arranging with Larchstar about the three becoming warriors, and began to step towards the leader to talk with her. She was sure the kits would become great warriors, even if Bashkit was a descendant of an enemy Clan. What did blood matter, or at least to Raincloud? And maybe Larchstar?

Pufflekit smiled. "Thanks Raincloud." She said and dipped her head and sighed. Her ears twitched, " I wish we were apprentices." She whispered dreamily. "Or maybe warriors!"


(Gosh, I forgot how much fun cat rping was! Bring back my charries, Bluepaw, and all. Since there are new leaders, Toothstar died of old age, and Amberstar disappeared.)

(Cool Vix! :D You didn't HAVE to come back... we would have just been kinda stuck.)

Bashkit and Amberkit nodded. "Yeah.. WARRIORS!" They said, daydreaming.

(xD Nah, I just missed the rp that kept me connected to RPC.)

Amberstar padded around and sighed. She was near the camp entrance, when she spotted Mellowstar stalking
out. She already knew what happened. "Hello." She smirked.

Raincloud smiled at the kits one more time, then looked at Stripepelt in an amiable way. Then she retreated into her den, glad that Mellowstar hadn't found out about the kits. They were tired as usual, and Raincloud let them sleep. She quietly padded into her den to rest; it was past sunhigh, and the sun was beginning to fall in the sky. Calmly, Raincloud lay down and closed her eyes, tired enough to go to sleep early and wake up early, too.

Larchstar looked calm. "Greetings, Amberstar. Why have you returned?" There was no hostility in her voice.

(Amberstar is talking to Mellowstar. She is hidden.)

Mellowstar snarled. "The 'fraidy cat has come back, I see."

Larchstar straightened. "Stripepelt is very brave," she countered. "He had the courage to leave the Clan when told.'

Her voice strengthened. "And although some Clans don't allow it, I see no rule of medicine cats not having kits. It's true I am intimidated by Amberstar and Toothstar and feel kind of rebellious, but now that I'm leader Fernstar can help me make the decisions in this Clan."

Don't tell me I trailed off-topic.



Brackenheart was staring at Mellowstar with abyssal blue eyes as if it was going to make her flee.

Raincloud's ears pricked drowsily, and she stepped out of her den carefully but with an evident step of fatigue. "Who shall be the new deputy then?" She inquired, excited but also tired. The queen and medicine she-cat blinked her blue eyes. Wouldn't Larchstar answer so she could sleep? Raincloud was noticeably more irritable when she was tired.

(Could you make the three kits apprentices?...)

Amberstar battted her paw. "I'll kill you know if you wnat. I have my ways." She mocked.

Pufflekit scrapped impatiently at the grass. THis didn't feel right. It's part of the warrior code! What if a cat got hurt? Raincloud needed an apprentice.

Bluepaw looked at Raincould, then the medicine cat den. She sighed and groomed her paw quietly.


(Bluepaw? We talked about it, you said yes, but did that change?)

((Can you give me their names to remind me?))

Larchheart turned around. "There ARE two leaders, as a tradition. But we also need a deputy." She looked at the sky with an exasperated expression. "There aren't as many warriors these days... I'll try to choose one before Moonhigh."

Brackenheart was still looking at Mellowstar. "You're not killing anyone from this Clan."

((Mellowstar is hidden. And the kits' names are Amberkit, Bashkit and Pufflekit.))

((Vix, do you still use Thunderfrost and Robinheart? They could be the deputies... Sorry, Branch, they were the first two warriors I saw.

There ARE two deputies, right?

Mellowstar snarled at Amberstar again, hearing the words the kit spoke as well. "Your all freaks, and I will have you die out sometime. I will kill Stripepelt, and any kin he may have." She vowed, and started to stalk off.

(Yeah, I use them. They both had apprentices, I'm pretty sure.)

Amberstar hissed and tackled Mellowstar. "I'm not kin. He's my KIT." She growled. "Your really THAT dumb?"

Pufflekit sighed. "No way of happening" She whispered to Bashkit. "Even though we know how to fight and hunt because of powers, we can't skip aprenticeship!" She sighed.

Bashkit nodded. "Yeah, I guess your right."

Mellowstar snarled. "Yes, but when Stripepelt mates and his mate has kits." She snarled back/

((One minute, I need reminding... how does Mellowstar know about the kits again? ))

(( She doesn't. She says WHEN Stripepelt's mate has kits. She has NO CLUE.))
