Larchheart padded towards Raincloud with Nightmask behind her. "Could you possibly... heal our external wounds when you're done?"

Lionpaw and Smallpaw shook there heads. "A few scratches, but nothing to worry about."Lionpaw and Smallpaw said in unision. Stripepelt blinked, and let his eyes close. He was so tired.. He fell into a light sleep.

"Good." Raincloud nodded, heading back towards her own den. Pain shot through her right side and the right side of her forehead -- she would need to treat those wounds. Heading into the medicine den, she carefully spread cobwebs and marigold poultice over them.

Lionpaw and Smallpaw dragged themselves to the apprentice den, and fell into a deeper sleep. Stripepelt raised his head when Raincloud came in, putting a poulitice on herself. 'Are you okay?"

Raincloud cringed slightly. "No problem, I just got slashed on my side, and this cut on my face is from the short battle with Mellowstar. I've seen worse." She paused, examining Stripepelt longingly. "Like yours." Gazing wistfully at the sky, ((About what time is it?)) She curled up next to him. "Trust me, there's nothing better that you can get than rest, and maybe prey." Getting up again, the gray she-cat plucked a mouse from the fresh-kill pile outside and dropped it in front of Stripepelt, lying down a tail-length away from him.

(( Yeah, its getting to later night now..))

Stripepelt sighed. "My wound isn't that bad honestly," He said, and then condradicted himself by cringed when he tried to move. He layed down again, and look a small bite of the mouse. "Thanks," He said. He thought quietly to himself, I can't believe Raincloud is hurt from that fight, and it was BECAUSE of me. Well, and her, but still.

"Don't try to hide it, I'm not worried as much as I look like," Raincloud said, turning to Nightmask and Larchheart. "Sure." She dabbed some marigold poultice and cobwebs on the wounds. "Now I'm running out of these two things. I'll have to go out and get some eventually. I'll be back in a while," the medicine cat said, blinking her aqua blue eyes. She padded out of the den and scented the air for any sign of the two medicines that she needed.

Stripepelt nodded, and watched her go. He rested his head on his paws, and felt sick to his stomach. He wasn't hurt, at least, not phsyically. Emotionally, well, that was a diferent story.

Amberheart killed the tom and collasped. Blood soaked her pelt and she had a deep scratch on her stomach.

Stripepelt managed to struggle himself up, and padded over to Amberstar. "Here, you need to rest..' He murmured, hauling her up and taking her to the medi. cat den,.

Amberstar moaned. Her paw was sprained andfacing backwardish.

Raincloud didn't see Striepepelt drag Amberstar into the den, but would take care of it when she was back. She spent about twenty minutes out, looking for marigold. The bright yellow flowers weren't easy to notice when there were a whole bunch of other blossoms, but she managed to pick quite a few stems. Carefully padding back to camp, she deposited them into a pile. "Amberstar?" She gasped as she saw the wounds. "If you're that badly hurt, you shouldn't move that much. Here, I'll see if I can treat you." She did the same old marigold-and-cobwebs remedy, and wrapped some around the broken paw. Then she sat at the other edge of the den, facing away from Stripepelt and Amberstar, her head hung. "It's all our fault...."

Larchheart's ears pricked up. Her voice was a growl, although she did not sound too threatening. "YOUR fault? None of this was your fault. It's the fault of the cat who chooses how to react to it. The Clan that attacked reacted to it as they didn't need to, so none of this is your fault."

It's false comfort, Nightmask thought silently, and there was a morose glint in his eyes.

Amberheart breathed deeply. It hurt a bit, right now her paw was sensitive. She quickly fell alseep.

She woke up in an odd place. She padded around. There were some cats she didn't reconize. She padded toward the border and peeked around a bush. She stopped. It was Firefeather. Wolfstar (Wolfpaw at the time) and the old Branchstar. Wolfpaw/star seemed to be taunting them. The memory flashed before her. It cam to a slow as she watched Firefeather die. So.. She thought. This is why Mellowstar got away because of Toothstar! She suddenly saw a different image. It was blury....but she could make out her and Stripepelt. RainCloud was by another cat...

Amberstar opened her eyes. She was in the den. She shook her head.

Stripepelt sighed, padding over to Raincloud. "I feel terrible."

Amberstar looked up and tried getting up. "It's not your fault. I just had a flashback. It's for What LionStar and BRanchstar did to Firefeather..."

"Me too," Raincloud whispered, her head still down as if she were praying to StarClan. She was trembling slightly; the sadness was overwhelming. "Maybe we just need to get some sleep." She lay down, and shut her eyes, waiting to see what Stripepelt would do.

She turned to Amberstar, eyes open again. "The attack IS our fault! Isn't it? JointClan is falling apart because of us!" Still lying on her front, Raincloud sobbed.

Stripepelt shivered, he had heard of Firefeather.. Hm. Stripepelt layed down very close to Raincloud, their pelts almost touching.

Amberstar shook her head. "No, partly. You know how you attacked Mellowstar when she was pregnet?" She asked.

"Yeah huh?" Stripepelt murmured.

Larchheart grumbled. "Good point. But in that case, it was the whole Clan's fault, not just yours." She gazed sympathetically at Raincloud, trying to find a way to cheer her up.

"Yes, I know. I'm sorry about that now. I was too angry to notice." Her ears twitched nervously, as she started to get drowsy.

Stripepelt shrugged, and waited for Amberstar's answer, eyes still wide and awake.

"Well, that's why. I know. I was in StarClan, when something like that happens, they show a fake prohcheny(sp) and then start a fight. They just sennt me the REAl reason." She said.

"That, I must say sucks." Stripepelt murmured half to himself. About the fake prophecy, but then wait, it said Forbidden Love.. Did that mean it wasn't really forbidden. "Go on." Stripepelt said.
