"I think both." Stripepelt managed to meow, before another cat came near him and he pinned him down, slashing claws. He couldn't help but think, that this was all his fault. His and Rainclouds. Another cat snuck up behind Larchheart and pounced with great speed.

Raincloud sighed with utter despair, sinking her claws into the black cat's chest, and swiping him on the side of the head to knock him out. The gray medicine cat had the same thoughts as Stripepelt; JointClan was falling apart, and it was all their fault. When she heard someone nearby, she whirled around, although she was a heartbeat too late. The cat that was attacking Larchheart was set off course and crashed to the ground a tail-length away.

Stripepelt raked his claws against the cat, and hit the calico body with so much force the cat was sent sprawling. He saw Fernstorm, Smallpaw and even Lionpaw, though carrying some scratches and bites, fighting through the mess. His heart sank.. All his fault. He clawed at every cat that didn't have JointClan scent.

Larchheart's head was layed back, and the black cat backed off, thinking he'd won.

But the monochrome she-cat's green eyes blazed. With a snarl she leaped forwards, crashing into the enemy and tumbling along the ground.

Words she knew came to her mind, and she said them aloud as she brawled.

"Bouken!" Slash.
"Kichijutsu!" Slash.
"Shimpan!" Slash.
"Joushou!" Slash.
"Meian!" Slash.
"Souguu!" This one was harder than the others.
"Seimei!" Harder still.
"SOUAI!!" Twice as hard as any, she slashed again. And a voice spoke with her. The black cat fled the battle, yowling in pure terror.

((Yeah, cats don't know Japanese, but I had to do that xD))

Stripepelt slashed and clawed and kicked as hard as he ever had. Cats yowled and screeched as Fernstorm, Smallpaw, Lionpaw and all of JointClan fought against all these intruders.

Larchheart turned to the nearest non-JointClan cat and began dodging its attacks, raking away with her own. She got a few scratches to stop godmoding but managed to fight the tabby off.

Amberstar batted and kicked her enemy. She looked around and stopped. Darkfang was hiding in the bushing, watching. She ran as fast as she could and gave him a surprise pounce on his back.

Stripepelt noticed, as he was fighting off a large tabby tom, that the mass of cats that were attacking was growing thinner, and thinner, and thinner. Stripepelt fought as hard as he could, and pushed away the fact that it was all his fault, and just let his instincts take over. He raked, scraped and pounced like you wouldn't believe, getting quite a few scratches of his own. He felt like he was going slower, and a large she-cat and tom both ganged up on him and he was was sprawled out painfully on the ground.

Raincloud had seen Stripepelt be pushed down. Shaking her head to get the shock out of herself, she leaped at the tom, trying to be nimble enough to dodge every attack. Breathing slowly and deeply, she kept attacking; Concentrate! A slash landed on the tom's shoulder. He yowled in pain, and Raincloud bit the she-cat directly on the neck when she was off-guard. However, the medicine cat soon received a fierce clawing on the side. Raincloud reared up and gave a yowl, her eyes squeezed shut for one moment. But she looked so fearsome that her enemy didn't bother attacking, and she brought all her weight down on the she-cat's back. Her enemy crumpled to the ground, mewling in pain like a kit. As the tom tried to sneak up on Raincloud, the gray she-cat gave him a kick in the face to send him backwards. "Stripepelt, do you need any herbs? Do you know what's wrong?"

"My paw.. Hurts.. Bad." He moaned, and struggled to get up. He blinked hard and fast, trying to push away the pain that seared through his front right paw. Scratches were all over him, and it hurt. Stripepelt managed to sit up, but the cats, even though they were thinning, were still fighting.

Raincloud carefully examined the paw. "I think it might be sprained. Just in case I think you might want to go rest in the medicine den. I'll be fighting out here. Don't worry about me." Raincloud touched noses with him and turned around, swiping aside a dark gray cat. The tom fell to the ground, writhing and not moving his left shoulder. With a grin, the gray she-cat shoved him into the bushes. That was fun.

Stripepelt didn't move, "I don't want to go rest," He said, "I want, I need to keep fighting!" He said, and swiped with his left paw, instead of his right at a black and white tom, and the tom fell over. Stripepelt tried to pin him, but the tom simpli pushed Stripepelt roughly off, and pinned him down. The black and white tom scraped at Stripepelt's face, and Stripepelt kicked at him hard, and he flew off.

"Just try not to put too much strain on your right paw, okay?" Raincloud asked. The worry was evident in her voice as she clawed the black tom on his side. It only reminded her of the pain on her own side, and she gave the scratches a few quick licks so that she could continue fighting.

"Fine," Stripepelt said quickly, as another she-cat crept up on him. He spun around fast, and whacked the other cat hard in the head with his paw. He raked his claws down her side, and smiled, his pounced, putting alot of weight on her tail. She screeched, and ran off.

Raincloud could see that there were only three cats left.

Problem? They were all facing her and Stripepelt. "We need to try hard for this last stretch," Raincloud growled, suddenly pouncing on one cat's back. Her enemy's brown fur was soaked red with blood as Raincloud bit the she-cat between the shoulders. Rolling over, her enemy yelped with pain, and Raincloud took the chance to score her claws down the cat's belly. Yowling in terror, the brown cat fled.

"Now it's two on two. I'll back you up," Raincloud told Stripepelt.

Amberheart wrestled Darkfang and hissed. "Mother-like enough?" She cursed. She pinned him and saw the three invaders all facing RainCloud and Stripepelt. She got off Darkfang and snuck toward one. She pounced.

Stripepelt nodded toward Raincloud, he was so tired, but coudln't possibly rest now. He pounced at the two at once, and pinned. He slashed, and they fought back, slashing and tearing hard at him.

Raincloud quickly leaped onto the enemy tom, wrestling him off and shoving him to the side. She tore at his shoulder, causing the wound to go even deeper, and then raked her claws down the other side of the she-cat, who screeched and tore at her. Raincloud barely was able to avoid having her face slashed again, and she turned back to the tom, giving him a last bite to the neck to weaken him. Then she turned to Stripepelt to see if he needed any more help.

The she-cat enemy was pinning Stripepelt down, most of her weight of his right side. Stripepelt cried out, and the cat gave him as hard bite to the neck. Blood stained his brown fur, he batted and kicked, but it wasn't much help. The she cat sent him sprawling, and he layed still for a moment. The she-cat cackled, but at the last second Stripepelt leaped up, and pounced at the cat, and bit and nipped hard. The she-cat collapsed, and didn't move.

"Stripepelt, we need to get your wound fixed!" Raincloud cried, seeming not to move as she dashed into the medicine den and gathered cobwebs and marigold. Quickly chewing the marigold, she spread it on his wound and then pressed the cobwebs to it. "Sorry if this hurts, but I hope it helps!" She cried, feeling like she could try. She murmured to her self ever so softly, "Please don't die."

Stripepelt flinched, the herbs stung. "I'm fine, honestly, go help the others.." He murmured, he was barely managed to stand, and his paw was near his chest. "I'm fine..' He repeated, but he really wasn't. He was happy that the fight was over, and that Raincloud was fine. Smallpaw and Lionpaw carried injurys, but none to serious. Fernstorm was fine, a few scratches, but she was a great fighter.

"No, you just need to rest. But I will check on the others."

Stripepelt nodded. "Alright, I'll rest, but check on the others." He mumbled, and limped to the medicine cat den. He layed down, no, flopped down in a nest. Smallpaw and Lionpaw layed in the shade, tired.

"No worry, I will," Raincloud replied.

"Please, don't let it be the last time I see him," she prayed to StarClan before heading towards Smallpaw and Lionpaw by scent. "Are there any wounds you need treated?" She asked them, the despair still coating her voice.
