Larchheart looked up. "Love overpowers death," she muttered, rising to her paws. "And I loved Brackenheart to the ends of the land." She glanced at the sky, half-expecting to see nothing. But for a moment she could have sworn that a white cat was looking down at her, a slight smile playing across his stolid jaws.

Stripepaw looked at her. "What was what, Raincloud?" He asked softly. He loved her so much, and couldn't tell her,.

Toothstar watched the two. "THat.." He said, changing mood. "Is Stripepaw coming back." He whispered.

Stripepaw flickered again, and he became brighter.

(Who do you want to play Brackenheart. If you want to, your active enough you and Dawn don't need forms.)

"St-Stripepaw..." Raincloud whispered. "You... y--..." Her eyes were so wide she was practically paralyzed with shock.

Stripepaw became solid, it flickered, and he was solid. "Raincloud, what is it?" He whispered back.

Toothstar grinned to himself and looked at his paw. Hopefully they don't hind out I did it....

"You...

"You're alive," Raincloud shouted, almost pouncing on him. She nosed him in thanks to him, and StarClan. And perhaps, she was thanking the power of her own love as well...

Stripepaw smiled at her, and almost exclaimed what he was thinking.. He loved her.. He nodded. "Thanks to you." He whispered.

Larchheart shook her head and blinked. The face was gone, and she flicked her ears.

A voice came to her head. "I'll be waiting for you in StarClan."

Immediately she knew it was him. Smiling for the first time in awhile, she nodded towards the sky.

I won't die until my time comes, but I'll wait any amount of time to see you again.

((Dawnfrost and I gotta go to gymnastics now... don't do anything while we're gone xDDDD just kidding.))

"You're welcome..."

Raincloud could tell by his face that he was frustrated about something. "Life isn't fair...." she breathed, and paused for a moment. "But that's why we live it."

Stripepaw nodded. "Yeah, I know." He replied. He really wanted to tell her, but he woudl loook foolish.. He looked at her.

Raincloud could see the same despondent look in his eyes. She blinked slowly, then turned to Larchheart. "Should we go home or persist?"

Stripepaw looked at Branchstar and Amberheart. Then he really wanted to pounce to at Mellowstar. He kneeded the ground.,

"I think, that maybe, we should leave for now. But, afterward..." Raincloud's voice became serious. "We attack, at full force!"

She turned to Branchstar. "Branchstar, do you think you could give Stripepaw a ceremony? He deserves a warrior name in my opinion, after all he tried to do to counter Mellowstar's actions..." No. She couldn't let what she really felt be revealed by her voice.

Branchstar nodded. "Certinly." He said, and yowled for the StarClan, and the living cats to gather. He could tell there was something going on with Raincloud and Stripepaw. "Cats of StarClan, and Cats of JointClan, we are gathered here today to see Striepaw get his full name." Branchstar smiled. "I, Branchstar, call my warrior ansestors to look down upon this apprentice and approve. He has trained hard and long, Stripepaw, will you guard your Clan and the code with all your heart?" He asked. Stripepaw didn't hesitate, and nodded. "I do." He said. Branchstar nodded, "From now on, you'll be known as Stripepelt. Look after your Clan." He said, and touched noses. Stripepaw licked his shoulder. HIs family, StarClan, all of them screamed his name. He looked over at Raincloud, emotion welling..

"Stripepelt!" Raincloud chanted with the others. After the cheering died down, she leaped up to him. "It fits well!" She didn't know it, but she, too, had a surge of emotion. But... she couldn't tell anybody... she practically had to hold her breath to keep herself from saying it. "We should go back. If anyone has wounds from that brief skirmish --" she flinched when the pain of the scar across her left ear came back to her -- "they will be treated immediately." The she-cat began to pad back to camp, then turned around and waited for Stripepelt.

Stripepelt padded with her, Fernstorm and Smallpaw, Lionpaw, all raced up ahead. It was just Raincloud and Stripepelt at the back, lagging behind. He wanted to tell her so bad, but she was a medicine cat. WHY did they make that stupid rule, why couldn't they just ignore that teeny little part..

Larchheart chanted. "Stripepelt!" She smiled, and then heard someone else chanting with her. She turned her head, and in that space was a white cat with blue-green eyes and red marks on his face: a dot above each eye and a line under each eye. "Branchstripe," she mouthed. The transparent, starry figure of Brackenheart glanced at her out of the corners of his eye. She knew he was saying that he was staying for the ceremony of a loyal warrior.

Stripepelt looked at Raincloud, and smiled softly. Should he tell her, and risk looking like a fool? Love was so much more then humiliation, worth so much more.. His brown pelt, stripes standing out were slick and flat.

((In my opinion, Stripepelt should tell her... it's worth it. Who cares what anyone else thinks?))
