Valia~Book 1: A Princess's tale

Edward was inturrupted by a noise coming from the next room.

(Not to be rude, but Jake was just in the other room...)

(I'm sorry! I thought Eamon was with him. I'll let Runa find him.))

Runa heard the noise too and it was close. She go up and went into the room beside her to See Jake. "What's wrong?"

Jake stood up carefully and walked slowlyout of the water, "The floors wet and I slipped..." he murmered, his face tear stained and expression depressed...

((Sorry, my bad I'll fix it))

Edward rushed out of the room, quickly following Runa.
"I will clean it up," he said.

Runa looked at him. "Jake, you, um..." She rushed over to him and wiped the teard from his face.

Edward picked up a mop and a bucket that were leanign against a wall and began mopping up the mess. Once in a while, he looked up at Jake, wondering if he was okay.

Jake tried to smiled, "I...?" he asked, urging her to finish.

(Pleese reply right away, I GTG!)

(Sorry, buit I GTG right now!)

Runa looked at him, "I....? What?"

Edward was just about to say he was finished but then saw that the trail continued towards another room.

"Hmm somebody left the sink on in the kitchen and it's overflowed," Edward muttered to himself "That explains this mess" he said as he turned the knob and the water stopped flowing. He then got to work on mopping again.

Eamon walked out of the room. He saw a new person mopping up water. "Let me help you with that," he said, grabbing another mop. "So, who are you? I haven't seen you around here before," Eamon asked.

"A servant," replied Edward. "I have just started work at the castle today. And what about you?"

"I'm also a servant. My name's Eamon," He greeted. "I hope you like it here. And, by the way, Runa knows what she's doing," He said, and continued mopping the floor. He smilled, and thought that he and the new one were going to be great friends.

Edward smiled timidly. "It seems like a pretty nice place. WAY better then where I used to live out on the streets." He wiped up the last of the water. "Thanks for helping me."

He chuckled, "I meant, finish what you're saying!" he finally smiled.

Jake woke up in his room and grabbed his beautifully wrapped prsents. There were three seperate boxes. He rushed out and knocked on Runa's door gently. "Runa... Are you awake?!" he quietly asked.

Jared woke and saw his last present to give Runa. He got up and daintly yawned.
