| Title- Extreme Winter storm hits whole of MichiganName- AlexLocation- /Northern Michigan/Weather- Very windy and chillyWearing- Many layers, and my cat on my lap Eating- Poptarts Drinking- Hot cocoa Hi guys.You all know I never make journal entries unless Michigan is struck
with exciting weather. Well, this time, I geuss you could say its
rather exciting...
H'okay so. this one will be regretably short, but only because there's no real story to it. Just the facts.
The news last night announced sheet rain (by the way, we already /had/ about 2 or more feet of snow) and 40 mph winds for the most state of MI. Well, the weather delivered, quiet under estimatedly, and basically covered our whole state in Ice. But now listen.
I was listening to the radio this morning, (evidentally, or should I say, obviously, school was closed,) and a city above us, towards the very tip of MI, was covered in 3 in. of ice, and had trees down, power lines, etc.
They said that the main bridge in Michigan, Called the Mackinac bridge, was suffering 70 mph winds! That. Is. Freakin. Windy.
So anyways, here it is 10 degrees and dropping, most of our snow is gone and replaced by thin, translucent ice.
Brr.
