I lost My Pet Werewolf

Not a real story

I LOST MY PET WEREWOLF...

PROLOGUE

It was bleak December, and I; I Jennifer Rosemary, went off to get my first pet. My mom told me, find a dog in the wild! It's cheaper! So I did. I went out, a long, strong stick in my grip to fight off any bears that lived in one of the Colorado Forests.

So I pointed my stick at every animal I saw. Frogs, Snakes, Rabbits, and cubs. I saw something rustling in the brush. There it was a big brown wolf. But I thought it was a mutt dog.

"Hey there little fella!" I examined him. No tags. Perfect!

I took him home...


CHAPTER ONE

I washed up the new 'dog' n an old kettle mom used to use.

"I'll call you Dex!" I said proudly.

Dex was facing his back towards me now, and I didn't notice when he growled at a small leaf fluttering by.

"Don't be such a grumpy guss, Dex. C'mon! Your lucky you didn't get shot by a hunter!" I smiled.

CHAPTER TWO

I guess that Dex was a very good boy...until another, silver 'dog' just like him came trotting along. She had a collar. A collar that was...was a part of her body. It was black and it had blue diamonds going around it. And in the back, it had metal bars that were thick and shaped like wings. They had diamonds on them too.

"Ah! Well I'll be!" I smiled.

The 'dog' which was actually a silver wolf, opened her mouth like she was going to speak... and you know what? She did that very thing!

"I am Amethyst. you have my pup." She looked at me.

"My Dex? He's a dog!" I scowled.

"No...he's a wolf."

"Prove it!"

"Resana." The wolf nodded.

Dex Smiled and howled. Followed by many other howls.

"See."

"Yes. Take him home." I smiled.

"Oh no! You laid your mark on him. He's yours now. But be careful. Chain him in full moons! Don't forget..." The wolf disappeared.

CHAPTER THREE

The full moon shown through the clouds later that week.

Dex, who's real name was Resana, was in the barn.

I heard a howl.

"Resana? Resana?" I came out, my rain coat on me, the coat was grey, and I stood in the rain, a clear puddle under the toes of my right foot.

Behind me was the large moon.

"RESANA!" I screamed out into the fresh Colorado air. I flung open the doors of the barn where Resana was supposed to be. I looked into the barn, behind me was a crackle of thunder and a flash of white lightning.

"RESANA!" I cried...

CHAPTER FOUR

I searched after I left a note on the front porch table where mom always went in the morning to drink her coffee.

I ran out, I ran to the stream where I walked Resana every morning.

"Resana..." I whispered. I saw a rusted chain fall infront of me. Amethyst stood there.

"I found this near your barn." She frowned.

"Thanks..but does that help?"

"Ye-"

"Get outa here! if you never lost Resana, I would be asleep! GO!" I yelled...

CHAPTER FIVE

"A chain?" I said.

"A Chain!" I finally read the letters on it.

It said:

To die is to love. And to love is to die. To hunt is to fight. And to fight is to hunt. To kill is to battle and to battle is to kill.

It repeated those sayings.

"Resana. I lost you already..."
