Dew snorted. "Twolegs! Always bothering us!" She shook her night-black head and sighed.
"No wolf will go out alone, just in case these twolegs are hostile. Her decision made, Dew turned and padded back into camp, muttering something about twolegs to herself.
Badger turned and scraped earth over the spot where the twolegs' stench still stayed, then followed his alpha into the camp.

((Where should I be? I'm sorta Cunfuzzled right now))

((I think Winds was with Dew before, but now she's back in camp, so he's probably there too. I think he followed her back from hunting))

Rain began to patter outside the camp, but the sheltering trees grew thick enough around camp to keep the rain out, except for an occasional stray that sprinkled down through the leaves. A storm, I knew it. Dew thought.

Winds looked up at the sky. "A storm," He said to himself. "Winds, blow on our pack gently so we have little destroyed," He silently prayed.

The rain poured down harder than ever, soaking everything in sight and sending all the wolves to cover. The only wolf who stayed out in the open was Dew-on-morning-flowers, who stared absently into the rain, because she saw something no other wolf saw.
A white wolf appeared in the deluge of rain, her long fur undisturbed by the water.
"Mother?" Dew whispered. "Hello Dew." The white wolf smiled. "I have a message for you." Dew pricked her ears. "Please tell me." She whined.
The wolf leaned forwards until her muzzle nearly touched Dew's ear.
" Beware of what the scent does not tell you." She whispered. Then she dissapeared, leaving Dew staring out into the pouring rain.

Winds ran over to Dew. "Hello, Dew," Winds welcomed. "Beautiful storm we're having, huh?" A bush, rustled nearby, but Winds couldn't hear because of the pouring rain. "You look surprised; what happened?" He asked.

Dew continued to stare for a long moment, then looked at Winds. "Nothing." She responded.
Lightning flashed, and thunder followed quickly. Dew looked up. "At least nothing you need to worry about..." She sighed. Then she finally stood and padded over the shelter of her den.
Badger looked out from his hiding spot between two large boulders. His fur bristled at his sisters response to Winds. Something isn't right... He thought nervously.

Winds looked at Dew as she padded away. "But I still worry," he said to no one. He went over to a shady and dry part of camp as he observed the storm. It really did seem appealing to him the storm was beautiful. What does it maatter if he got wet from rain. The bush rustled again, this time he heard it. He imediatly seathed his claws and impaled the chipmunk hiding from the rain. He added it to the kill pile. "There's one more to survive on," He muttered to himself.

Dew was too restless to sleep, so she padded out of her den in time to see Winds adding the chipmunk to the fresh-kill pile. "Good catch." She barked, anxious to talk about something, anything but her mother's warning.

"Thank you," Winds said as he returned to Dew. "I thought you didn't like storms," He said. He didn't want to talk a lot right now, just continue observing the storm up above him.

Dew flicked her ear, scattering raindrops which joined the ones that were still falling down.
"My mother used to say that when it was raining this hard, it was because something awful had happened somewhere..." She sighed.
She wondered if she should ask Winds what he thought about her mother's warning, but she didn't want to bother him.

"Well, I'll make sure nothing bad happens," Winds assured. He sneak a quick grin. "So... do you want to do something?" he asked.

Only too thankful to think about something else, Dew looked over at the other wolf.
"I'm sure you will." She agreed.
Suddenly, she leapt at him and pinned him down. "And as for doing something..." She nipped his ear playfully and jumped a few pawsteps back, ready for any play attck from Winds.
