Snowgrass sighed, as she carried Emerald.

Emerald huffed.

Amberstone smiled.

Rubysnow set Amberstone down on a bed of moss.

Amberstone yawned.

Snowgrass plopped Emereald down next to Amberstone.

Emerald stretched. "Snowgrass? Why are we black and you two are white?" he asked curiously.

Rubysnow quickly responded. "Emerald, Snowgrass and I are snow leopards, as you and Amberstone are panthers."

Snowgrass nodded. "A clans' cat. Heading this way, but it's very faint."

Amberstone perked up. "Mama- i think i smell it too." he mewled to Rubysnow.

Emerald poked his head in the air. "Yes Mama, I think he's coming." he said to SnowGrass.

Snowgrass' fur glinted in the sunlight. Was she imagining the scent? No- because both of the kits had smelt it too...

Rubysnow picked up on the scent. "Snowgrass, lookout." she curled around the cubs defensively.

Amberstone mewled.

Emerald whimpered.
