The alpha padded toward the wolves, her heart pounding in her chest. She sat beside Anko, nodding a hello to everyone.

Denali nodded in greeting to the alpha. "I wish I could get out of here and back to my pack. My father must be worried," she sighed.

(I know! I love Balto...and Jenny! she is kinda what sheba looks like ^^the same colors and everything though.You did a really nice job with that pic!)

Sheba dipped her head in silent greetings as onyx padded up to the group. "I'm going to get somthing to eat, talk to you all later." she murmered and turned for the meat pile.

"Sure, Sheba," Anko said. "Hey Onyx."

Denali felt awkward with all these wolves here now. She shifted a bit and looked at the ground.

"I've never seen you before, welcome to the cage, although you probably don't want to be here." She barked to Denali, smiling alittle.

"Honestly, I really don't. No offence. I enjoyed my pack much more than this," Denali replied truthfully.

Her eyes widened, "You have a pack? Are they near here?" She barked, if this pack was, maybe they could help them escape.

"Yes, I have a pack. And I don't know where they are. Maybe I could howl to them tonight and see if they reply," Denali suggested.

"If they answered us, do you think they'd help us escape this joint?" The alpha barked, her tail thumping the ground.

"I'm not sure. My father probably would. He'd do anything to help," Denali replied.

Twilight padded around the cage.

She stood up, then sat back down. "Is your father the alpha? This may work." The alpha barked, her eyes hopeful.

Denali thought for a moment. "Hmm, he may be. Last time I was there, we still had Razo as our alpha. But he has grown old. So it may be possible," she sighed.

"Oh, okay. We'll just try to talk to them tonight." She smiled, her tail wagged.

Lupus's eyes hardened, though there was a glint of fiery determination in them, and he squared his shoulders. Free. To be free, was all he wanted. But he knew that his old pack's camp would easily be found. What if the others, the other wolves from his pack...had escaped the twolegs? They would still be there! He could be with his old pack again! He glanced at the other wolves. But he'd come to enjoy they're company...even Sheba's. Blinking, he looked away. He wouldn't think about that, for now. What mattered was getting free. Later, he'd wonder about the pack he had to choose.

But how soon would it be till they broke free?

Mallie sat by the man-made lake, watching the other wolves talk about escape. She knew that's what everyone here wanted to do, but why did it have to seem so impposible? I have an idea, she thought, but who would want to listen to me?

Itachi padded over to Mallie. "Have something to say?" he asked, sitting beside her.

Moonrise continued to talk with the other wolves.

Sheba ripped into a slab of meat next to the corner window. she stared out into it with blank eyes as she chewed. Her ember-colored fur glinted and shined in the sunshine.

"Not that anyone would listen," she pointed out.

Lupus glanced at where Itachi and Mallie were talking. "I couldn't help over-hearing," he woofed. "I'd listen."
