Shadow Scar: I was looking to Danalli's den as Whitefeather spoke to me. I glanced at her, nodded and continued to Danalli. "Do it. Call the feast! Now!" I snarled.

Danalli: "Oh, Envy, why have you chosen my brother?" I looked into Shadow Scar's eyes, seeing Envy taking over. I exited my den, the warmth of summer, seeping into my fur. I howled, my howl of comfort, peace, and uncontrolled power. I realized as I howled, that I was this pack. I am. What is Pond Dust without me? A godless pack? No. But without me the journey will just be harder. I ended the howl and saw our alpha step into the center of the pack. Oh God! Sage what were you thinking!? Alexsei? I told you, Lidka! Alexsei was meant to be Second-In-Command! Fool!

Whitefeather's ears flattened as Shadow Scar spoke in a harsh voice. Why was he so angry? The feast didn't have to start now... But there was something different about his eyes. Being so young, Whitefeather didn't really know what it was, but something was nagging at the back of her mind. Hadn't someone mentioned something like this before? But under Danalli's powerful howl, she couldn't think of anything, and she merely looked at Sage, who was standing in the middle of the camp, and lowered her head.

Alexsei stood beside his mother and looked up at her. "Why are you staring at Danalli?" He asked cautiously. "I haven't seen you talk in ages."

Swiftkill sat regally over Alexsei as he surveyed the camp, looking at each wolve's guardian in greeting and in regard.

)Celestia actually has like- real antennae. XD Like- think of green microfiber lights inset to her ears. She's light green but it fades darker as it gets farther away from her chest.(

Celestia grinned right back at him with younger eyes. "Normally I don't get this excited about a fight unless there's a reward." She barked absentmindedly, reviewing her surroundings to see what she could use against him. Obviously he had somewhat of an upper hand since they had just crossed onto ice, but the other wolf didn't seem to know her powers, so he would probably be cautious.

Zabranjen flew high above Pond Dust's camp and watched as the drama of a new feast with the returning Shadow Scar & Co. leading the ceremony. Tired. He remarked inside his head to the point of his wings. He did a crow's shrug and just created a platform from smoke to support him above the pack. The half- demon half- angel hung his front paws off of the smoke as Envy's plot unfolded.

Sage: "Nothing, Son." I looked at the young alpha. "I just... made a brave choice... One that could save us..."

Lidka: I padded to Danalli and touched her nose. "Danalli, start the feast, please! I'm just really excited!" I followed her gaze to Alexsei. I knew.


Shadow Scar: I smiled, trying to suppress Envy. "Let's eat." I barked to Camp.

Alexsei frowned. "Danalli knows I will be a good Alpha, but she and Lidka will go against me, won't they?" He asked grimly, averting his gaze.

Celestia was suprised at the choice of a snake, and swerved her head closer torwards one of the remaining trees. Trying to think fast, Celestia surveyed the ground around her -which she hadn't thought to do when she analyzed the suroundings.

(I've never hated one of my RP characters before, usually I love them. But I've started to hate Sage...)

Sage: "Not... go against you... More like trying to get you to obey them instead. But still... pack law states that Danalli is superior to you... Lidka... not so much."

Shadow Scar: By now the sun was set, and Dex had lit a fire in the center of camp. Wolves took their places to eat. I sat. Not eating. I was too nervous to eat. What if Danalli refuses to kill me and let Envy destroy me? Or what if she doesn't kill me the correct way? Or what if someone else is chosen to kill me instead? No. Danalli said that Star Dust told her that the smoke from the fire will rise and surround the wolf chosen to kill Envy. The only wolf I could think of was Danalli.

Dex: I had taken a rabbit from the pile. I took it to the corner of Camp. Isolated from the rest. What was Mika-Mei doing? Where had she gone? Why... did she leave Pond Dust... and me? I must find her! I can't wait until tomorrow! She'll be in the mountains... and I can't go there! Unexplored territory! There could be anything! I looked up. The stars seemed to form a wolf... with a ribbon tail. Dazzel! She passed on... she doesn't love me anymore. Go, find her. I heard the milky whisper in my ear.

Celestia grunted as she skimmed the first hit across her muzzle. "That's interesting.... first opponent I've fought to turn to steam." She commented, breaking the wall in front and raising a new one that curved from mid- front to mid- side. Thankfully she was up against the tree. Still. The green wolf placed her muzzle on top of the wall, which made her talk into open air. Celestia stuck a paw out of the wall and lifted, creating rock spikes that shot torward the blue wolf at random angles.

Alexsei frowned. "I won't give in! I am Alpha." He barked, but then went off to the feast.

Sage: "Alexsei. Alpha just means you need to protect the pack. Do what's best for them."

Lidka: I tore at the bear while I glared at Alexsei.

Mika-Mei had to find somewhere to stay. Here, she was just on open plains. There were mountains in the distance... she would have to go there. She really wanted to stay close to Pond Dust, but it was either inside their territory, which they may not like, or the mountains. Mika-Mei had always been a traveler, so going to the horizon over the course of half a day was nothing to her, especially since she had gotten plenty of food and rest the past few days. The light lavender-pink wolf began to make her move, and by the time the sun had set, she had reached another tree line. She readjusted her purple scarf and slipped into an old badger set that had been abandoned a long time ago. It was just large enough for her. She curled up so that her tail was covering her nose, closing her eyes. She would need rest in case she was planning to go for a long distance tomorrow.

Now, the feast -- Whitefeather's first -- had begun. The sun was setting, and she saw that the wolves around her were all taking food. A wolf that Whitefeather had never introduced herself to very much -- she knew her name was Lidka -- was working on the bear that she and Shadow Scar had caught. Seeing someone else eat the prey that she worked hard to get made Whitefeather happy, and she was hungry. As she reached the pile of kill, she saw that there was still a deer haunch left that nobody had seemed to want after most of the rest of the deer was taken, so the white wolf grabbed it in her jaws and dragged it off toward one side of the camp. She sat down to eat, but as she did so, her eyes drifted, as they always did when she was having a meal.

And there, in the firelight, she noticed that Shadow Scar wasn't doing anything. He wasn't eating or participating in the feast, and he was sitting completely alone. Perhaps it was just how he was. But as Whitefeather continued to eat, it nagged at her more and more... Finally she had to see what was wrong. And most of the deer haunch was still left. She took the slab of meat and walked quietly over,as not to disturb the other wolves. As she arrived at the blue-and-black wolf's side, she dropped what remained of her meat and lay down facing him. "Come on, I thought you were excited to eat," she said quietly, her gaze clearly telling him that he could take as much of the venison as he wanted. "Why are you sitting over here all alone?"

Celestia smiled a little bit as they kept this weird battle conversation. "Eh, it's not that useful. Not as useful as my other side, anyway." She replied, ducking down and as close to her wall as possible. The left snake shot out for her face the green wolf broke off a small section of the wall and attatched it to her forearm as she quickly blocked the majority of the snake. What wasn't hit collapsed to water and dowsed the side of her cheek as she turned torward the other snake.

Alexsei nodded. "Yes. Pack is first!" Came his enthusiastic reply through venison.

That serpent had been pretty much decimated. The other one was still coming, although it too was mostly stopped by Celestia's earth power. She had gotten wet, but that wasn't enough to cause significant damage.

Uisce flicked his ears. Looks like he'd have to focus on where he started the snakes rather than where he ended them. As far as he knew, it wouldn't be too hard to conjure serpents up to a few meters away. But trying to create one on the other side of a mountain, for example, would sap his energy faster than a quarter pound of leeches. That would be a different approach.

Keeping his eyes focused, he created a freezing-snake that came up from the ground directly in front of Celestia. He didn't have the nerve to aim it at her throat for a fatal hit, but he came close.

((feel free to control the snakes a bit yourself. You don't have to wait for me to say whether they hit or not; I trust you not to be like a few other people and protect yourself from everything.))

Sage: I smiled and licked his forehead. I walked away, looking for Aaron. "Aaron?" I called. It seemed like he was avoiding me lately.

Aaron padded out from their den wearily, smiling at her. "Hello, love."

The snake had taken her by suprise and she lost control over the wall, falling backwards. Celestia barked as she was hit square in the chest and onto the rubble. "Gh- ood hit!" The green wolf managed to whittle out as she righted herself over the fallen rocks and snake. "I- guess.... that makes us..... even now." She laughed weakly at the perspective of the battle. Back to work ran through her head as the rocks began to shake violently. Bigger ones stacked themselves onto different slabs.

Celestia quickly ducked, even though the snake followed her path. "I see. Snakes are just natural, hm?" All the rocks vaulted up and surrounded her until she was invisible except for the swirling mass. As the water snake approached closer, the rocks shrunk in torwards her body, then suddenly repelled against a gigantic green snake with Celestia's same markings. She opened her mouth and hissed at both him and the water-form. Granite rocks reformed and clung to the snake as armor. The cobra tensed and opened it's hood to rise up threateningly. "Let uss ssee how you fare for real ssnakess..." Her voice was now harsh and quieter.

(lol i haven't been paying attention to your Celestia + Uisce thing lol. Should I put Uisce on the Loners' list?)

Sage: I looked blindly towards Aaron. "Hello." I disguised my sadness well with a delighted, peppy tone. "Let's eat." As he got closer my vision faded in and I could see the camp. Darkness surrounded the fire-lit glade, the fire made every wolf look slightly more orange. The pack was small... much smaller than Danalli said it used to be. A large valley with wolves of every color... every size... every power... element. God what has her pack become!? "Let's eat." I barked to Aaron.

Shadow Scar: "Oh! Whitefeather, you surprised me!" I tried to say it nicely but the mixture of a nice tone and a snarl full of hate came out a depressed yawn. Envy was slowly eating me away. "I... just... miss Fauna." It was true after all.

Dex: I sat still. Thinking. Why did I let her go? Why do I feel this way? Why does she remind me of Dazzel? They're complete opposites for Stars' sake! No. None of these things will answer themselves. I have to go find her. Now! I couldn't waste time by telling Danalli... they'll have to find out themselves. I dropped the rabbit I was eating. I slowly moved into the shadows. When I was sure no one was watching, I ran. I ran as fast as my legs could take me. I ran like... like I chased Dazzel that time when we were playing around the Pond. I felt sick. I didn't feel like a Pond Dust Warrior, i felt like a sick, rotten mutt. How could I just forget about Dazzel for a wolf I barely know? But this was.... I'd hate to think it like this but... love at first sight. But nothing -not even Mika-Mei- could make me forget the first time I saw Dazzel, light pinkish-purple fur with bright blue eyes, a long ribbon tail and mane, her tail and mane with dark purple stripe. I just wanted to say goodbye... to see my unborn pups. Who were they? Who would they be? Would they be Warriors like me? Or would they be sarcastic Hunters like Dazzel?
I'm floating in my thoughts again! I lost sight of what is really important! Let go of the past... though it will never be forgotten. Move on. I ran towards the fields. I caught her scent... I followed it. This was the first time I left our new forest. "Mika-Mei!" I howled, "where are you?"
