"Tonight in the IceClan camp, Hpneystripe and Ghostfang sit their vigils after earning their warrior names. It is only appropriate that Cloverpaw take his name as well," declared Whisperpelt,"I, Whisperpeplt, medicine cat of IceClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard in the ways of a medicine cat, and I ask that He take his place among us."

"Cloverpaw, do you promise to uphold the medicine cat code, and serve StarClan and your Clan even at the cost of your life?"

Foxstar and Wildflower turned there heads in the dertiction of Whisperpelt

Ghostfang stifled a yawn. It had been a cold vigil, and he was looking foward to a long nap in the warrior's den....

Redkit looked curiously at Peachkit.

Cloverpaw gasped. did that mean Whisperpelt was retiring form her duty? "I...do" he stuttered, shocked. He glanced over at Meadowflight, who gave a curt nod.

(I kno ^^ I was thinking Peachfrost, or feather for her warrior name)

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your full name as a medicine cat. From this moment forth, you shall be known as Cloverwhisker. StarClan honors your patience and your wisdom and we welcome you as a full medicine cat."
Whisperpelt layed her head on her apprentices' muzzle.

"Cloverwhisker! Cloverwhisker!" called Starchaser.

(nice choice of name!)
Cloverwhisker's paws ached suddenly, but he did'nt care.
He was the medicine cat of Iceclan now! But wait; he was'nt possilby ready...and Whisperpwlt could'nt retire!

Meadowflight blinked happily at her friend and cheered his new name. "Cloverwhisker!"

Peachkit stared over at Redkit. "Hi." she sqeaked, sticking a paw out to swat the red tom.

"Don't worry Cloverwhisker. You won't have to take on full responsibility until I die. You're still my apprentice, but you have your full name," she explained,"That's how it works."

Starchaser purred,"I hope I can bring Silentpaw next time. Its a shame she had to miss this."

"Hi! I'm Redkit," he squeaked.

"We're leaving of course," said Whisperpelt,"IceClan isn't exactly well-along without its medicine cats."

Starchaser nodded,"And I must return to Moonclan. So long, Whisperpelt, Cloverwhisker, MeadowFlight. May StarClan light your paths."

Cloverwhisker waved his black and white tail in farewell. "See you," he meowed, leaping out of the cave entrance. He padded along side Meadowflight untill she mewed goodbye and left for Sunclan. He looked up at the dark night sky. "What did Starclan send you, Whisperpelt?" he asked after a long pause.

Hawktalon murmered an affectionate good-bye and left to go to the warriors den. he sniffed the cool night air once more before curling into his soft nest.

Honeystripe yawned and shifted in her warm nest. she flicked her golden tabby ear as a golden leaf spiraled onto it.

Sunflower curled her tail around her pale ginger kit.she burrried her nose under her paws and slowly dozed off into a comfortable sleep, occasionally looking up at every swift breeze in the night.

Foxstar whent into her cool den. The moss felt good on her cold paws. " ahhh....." Foxstar sighed. She felt alseep to the sound of the wind throw the branches of the tress.

Wildflower whent into the warrior's den next to Honeystripe's nest.

Hawktalon arched his ginger and silver fur in a lazy stetch next to the fresh kill pile. He nibbled at a rabbit patiently as he awaited the rest of the dawn patrol to wake.

Spook stuck his head out of the warriors den, gaping a yawn as a golden leaf fell infront of him. He stepped out into the clearing, instantly spotting the deputy. "That was a cold night! I'm so stiff this sunrise!" he meowed to him, careful not to awake anyone. he stretched out a back leg before digging into the pile and pulling out a Starling.

"Me too, I think there was frost too. My fur was damp when I woke up." he replied to the huge black cat. He had to admit: Spook was becoming quite the warrior for a former kittypet. He definatly admired him. He took another bite of the brown rabbit.

((Good for you! It's been a week for me since school's been out!))

(Gah unfair! lol my last secounds of school ended at 2;40 today ^^)
