= JointClan = Part 7- Returning trouble

Grasstail shook her head. "Mellowstar did this." She said.

Shadowheart thought frantically of a way to get her out. None came to him.
He stared at Moonshadow. "Why can't you just let her goo?"

"Because, I'm not special like Mellowstar," Moonshadow said neutrally, "Or Grasstail." He was turning into his old self again, and there was nothing he could do about it. He started towards camp again.

Grasstail followed him.

Shadowheart stood there, watching them go.
The moon was high in the sky, and Shadowheart looked like a black shadow.
"I love you.." He whispered, watching Grasstail go.

Grasstail sighed. Her life was wrecked.

Shadowheart felt like they had just ripped out his heart and danced on it. (Familiar, Vix? xD)
He slowly dragged himself back to camp. But he wasn't staying, no, of course not. He was sneaking in later, and he was planning it all as he walked back to camp.

Moonshadow continued onto camp. His life was being ruined. It's like, he's the victim that makes everyone feel better. As soon as he got back to camp, he scared himself with his own claws.

Grasstail sat beside Moonshadow. "Now what? I'm being torn between two clans!" She growled to herself, not in the mood for a quarral with Moonshadow.

Shadowheart didn't go back to camp, but sat in his favorite tree near camp, being sad.
Why'd he have to have a crush on a girl he couldn't have, literally. (xD)
Shadowheart laughed darkly. He stood up on the tree branch, slipped and was hanging on by a claw. He was up pretty high.

(( GRASSTAIL COME TO THE RESCUE! Maybe.. I hope. xDD))

As soon as he saw Shadowheart head towards camp, Brackenheart followed. If he had left, that means he had failed, right? However, he was confused when he entered camp and Shadowheart wasn't there.

Larchstar was sound asleep, having no idea of this. When there was a rustle at the entrance of the camp, she got up. Brackenheart didn't sense her, or so it appeared. She followed him to a dark corner of the camp, where he sat down and stared at the bramble wall.

Now what's he going to say...

Shadowheart clung to the tree branch, by a claw, and stared down. He gulped. If he fell, it was instant death. He couldn't die, not now, surely. He yowled for his life. Literally.

Mellowstar just happened to be passing the tree, and heard the yowl. "What in the heck are you doing up THERE?" She snapped, looking up.

Peaceheart was by the tree to. "Shadowheart!" She cried. Then she noticed Mellowstar. "You!" She growled.

Mellowstar rolled her eyes. Shadowheart looked a little to young to die, just yet. Mellowstar scrambled up the tree, and came back down with Shadowheart in her jaws. She set him down carefully. "Don't get used to it," She mutter gruffly.

Peaceheart stared at Mellowstar. "Wow! You did a good deed!" She said, surprised but sartasic. (sp) She got mad again. "Why don'y you do the same to Grasstail!" She growled.

Mellowstar growled. "I'm not with Grasstail, its Moonshadow. Complain to him." Mellowstar smiled. "Oh, and I just wanna tell you something." He smiled.

Shadowheart gasped, and backed up, standing by Peaceheart.

Peaceheart hissed. "You are their leader, and you have her hostage!" She yowled, tackling Mellowstar. "Let.Her.Go!" She hissed and pinned her.

"Calm down, calm down." Mellowstar pushed her off. "Again, MOOONSHADOW has her hostage, technically."
"And by the way, your old leader, Hawkstar, has kits close to camp."

Peaceheart shrugged. 'Only BloodClan cares about her and StormStone." She replied, not surprised.

Mellowstar nearly stuck her tounge out, but didn't.
"Yeah, but why? She was YOUR GUYS leader."

Peaceheart chuckled. "Only ShadowClan cats listened to her! BranchClan cats listened to Lionstar!"

"And Branchstar," She said sourly.
"Listen, don't you DARE tell ANYONE, I saved you, got it?" She snapped at both of them.

Peaceheart stepped back. "Why in the world would they believe us, anyway?" She retorted.

"Bleh, bleh, bleh, blehm" She snapped back, childishly.
"Cause Shadowheart made a yowl that might've woken up all of StarClan," She snapped, twitching her ears.
"Plus, they'll probably smell me." She added.
