= JointClan = Part 7- Returning trouble

Mama. Mama! Oh geez, the kits with Hawksta- well, Lockheart and Stormstone's!! Mellowstar realized suddenly. She nearly growled.
"Oh, so these are your kits, Hawkstar?" She asked, gritting her teeth.

Mellowstar seemed pleased to be getting information. She was prying Lockheart WIIIIDDEEE open.
She smiled at the kits. "Feather, Indigo, and Stormkit, correct?" She asked.

Indigo started to nod, but then looked back to his mother.

"Now you know what JointClan doesn't. Please leave before I remove you MYSELF." Lockheart snarled, the fur on her pelt stood up.

Feather ran back to the den, along with her twin.

Stormkit followed hurriedly.

Indigo whimpered, and retreated after his siblings.

Mellowstar smiled, her teeth showing. "Don't worry your pretty little head about it, I'll go, but I'll be back. Oh, I will be back." She cackled lowly, and bounded off, not looking behind her.

Mellowstar smiled, and doubled back, going behind Lockheart's den. She was going to tell someone, not of her own Clan, but JointClan.

Mellowstar snarled, and turned in mid air, slashing Lockheart's face. "Let go, mouse brain!" She yowled at the top of her lungs. It echoed.

Mellowstar was bleeding pretty badly, and limped off. "Stupid. Mouse. Brain." She muttered, going off toward JointClan camp.

Shaodwheart looked at Grasstail with pleading, concerned, and even pained eyes. "Make him come too then!" He said, "Please, just come."
Because I love you, He thought desperately, thinking it to himself, no idea Grasstail could read thoughts.

"You know Jointclan won't let a Mellowclan warrior inside there borders! What are you trying to do, kill me?" Moonshadow asked.

Shadowheart shook his head. "No, they won't. But, if you were with me, maybe." He said. "When ShadeClan was here, they let a ShadeClan apprentice go through, because he wasn't evil like the rest," He said, drawing that information from .. Nowhere it seemed like.

"But he was an apprentice, he couldn't really be anything because he wasn't that old," Moonshadow argued. "Come on, Grasstail. We're going," He said.

"Your not the boss of her," Shadowheart snarled, furious.
He nearly lunged at Moonshadow, but held back. "So what if he wasn't that old?" He snapped. "Please, come on!" He said.

"NO!" Moonshadow hollered. "And technically, I am the boss of her!" And with that, he started toward camp.

Grasstail looked away and followed him. "Promise breaker!" She spat. Tear stains ran down her cheek as she watched Shadowheart while her legs pulled her away.

"What do you mean, promise breaker? I'm risking my life here!" Moonshadow asked. "And there's no use crying." He kept on going, his head facing the ground.

Shadowheart looked at her, pained. He lunged at Moonshadow, snarling.

Moonshadow jumped foward, sensing Shadowheart. "You will not want to fight me," He said, wondering if he realized what he would be doing.

Grasstail snortwed. "That's me!" She muttered, then heard Shadowheart. "Stop!" She yowled.

Shadowheart froze, ignored Moonshadow, and turned to her. "Why?" He whispered, nearly on the verge of tears.

"B-Because. I've got to do whatever Moonshadow does! I don't want to fight you!" She brlurted. Starting to tear up.

Shadowheart was freaking out. "Well, if its that way, can't you reverse it and make it so he has to follow you?" He was thinking rapidly, frantically.
Grasstail, I love you. He thought. He didn't know about her powers. Or Moonshadow. His heart wrenched.
"I won't fight you," He said to Moonshadow.
