= JointClan = Part 7- Returning trouble

Dottie smiled. She felt her stomach rumbling like a storm ready to burst.
"Thank you," Dottie said as she stepped in. Lockheart didn't seem like the typical stray, Dottie noticed.

Dottie took a small mouse, and devoured it gladly.
"Well, I did." Dottie said, "They're gone now, I don't know where, exactly," She admitted.
Dottie noticed a very, very, very faint scent on Lockheart that wasn't stray. Dottie didn't know of the Clans, so she had no clue what it was.

StormStone, returning from hunting, growled at Dottie.

Dottie flinched, looking up. She was startled and scared.

Brackenheart was close, but he heard murmuring from inside the den. He froze. Something like "I'll tell you if you don't go against Brackenheart and Shadowheart."

His fangs clenched harder around his bone from tension. He remained crouched in the bushes. Individual, non-Clan scent would make it easy if it wasn't for his white coat.

Shadowheart heard the murmuring as well, and nearly growled, but stayed silent. He smelled of JointClan, which really sucked, but his black coat helped him blend in.

A MelowClan warrrior was on patrol. He was a flick of white, and became curious. Coming Closer, he growled.

Hearing a growl, Brackenheart whipped towards it. His fur stood on end. "Shadowheart, go."

Lockheart snorted.
"Calm down, Stormstone." She growled, padding over.
"This is Dottie- she will be staying with us until she is recognized by the clans."

Indigo smiled. "Da!" he ran over to his father.

Feather giggled, following her brother.

Stormkit tackled him.

The warrior growled. "Trying to get the hostage huh? Too bad. She's stuck doing what EVER Moonshadow does." He spat. "He runs away, she does too!" He hissed at Brackenheart. He leaped at Brackenheart.

Brackenheart raised the sharp tip of the bone-like weapon, not impaling the cat but instead attempting to block the attack.

Shadowheart gasped when the warrior leapt, and managed to scrap the warriors side. He dashed off toward MellowClan, "Brackenheart, be careful!" He called.

Grasstail twitched her tail. "Wolfstar." She sighed. That's what worried her. Amberstar loved Branchstar first, not Wolfstar. Wolfstar fell for her. Then challanged Branchstar. What if taht happens with Moonshadow? She shook the thought off.

Moonshadow heard a loud noise. "They're coming, you know," He said to Grasstail. He smiled, waiting to see them surprised when they try to get her. "C'mon, we have to go," Moonshadow said. He got up and started out of camp.

Shadowheart was panting silently, running, running, running as fast as he could. He was to get Grasstail out, maybe irritate Mellowstar a little. He ever was guarding her was in for it. He was near the camp now, he was to busy thinking recklessly, he didn't take the time to hear or smell Grasstail or Moonshadow.

Dottie cocked her head, curious, confused.

"What do you mean, 'clans'?" She asked.

Odd names, Dottie thought, keeping it to herself.
"What are Clans, Lockheart? They sound awfully odd."

Dottie's eyes widened. Wow, drama, She thought.

"Yikes. How come your not in JointClan anymore, I mean, if they're honest and kind.."

Dottie thought it was stupid that she got banned. You can't control love, can you?
Dottie yawned as well, and curled up. "M'kay, Lockheart."

"Night," Dottie replied. She stared out at the sky for a few moment, and then closed her eyes slowly. She fell into a nice slumber.

Back at MellowClan camp, Mellowstar was restless. She was bored. She didn't know where Moonshadow or Grasstail were, but if she found out they had run away.. She growled. She took a back way out of camp. not aware of the fight that was probably going to break out with Grasstail, Moonshadow and Shadowheart. She was going for a little midnight hunt, to calm herself.
