= JointClan = Part 7- Returning trouble

Grasstail wailed. "You've got to be KIDDING, starclan." She cursed loudly. "Darn it. Someone told me about this. I have to do whatever YOU do." She shuddered. "Fox Dung!" She spat at Mellowstar.

Mellowstar smiled as she sauntered away. "Hope your enjoy it," She snarled, delighted.

Brackenheart didn't know what to say. It would probably be safer if he did this alone, but he could always send Shadowheart to scout ahead... this was confusing.

"Well Grasstail, maybe you should've thought about tackling me before you did it," Moonshadow said bluntly. "Hmm, I wonder if I should tackle Moonshadow, the only one I know watching me. What should anyone care, Mellowstar isn't around," HE mocked.

Grasstail wanted to bring, but only if Moonshadow did. She turned to him. "Then don't talk about killing me, smartie-ppants!" She retorted.

Shadowheart gave a pleading look. "Please?" He said.

Brackenheart looked ready to claw something. "You can follow me... just stay quiet."

(( Grasstail's not gonna get out, though, Vixen says she doesn't until LATE LATER LATE in the thread. xDD Plot. Thing. xDD ))

Shadowheart knew he was ticking Bracknheart off, but nodded. "Ok!"

Brackenheart turned and silently padded out of camp, beckoning Shadowheart with his tail. If Shadowheart had been next to Brackenheart at that moment, he would have seen the white tom apparently conjure and extract a bone from his shoulder, and then placing it under his paw.

Shadowheart followed silently out of camp, and then followed behind her.

Moonshadow laughed as he heard this. "Now why would I want to kill you? I have no reason of killing someone who I've liked for any circumstance. No, I'm not going to kill you, Mellowstar's new punishment will," He explained, a smile on his face.

Grasstail snorted. "Well, at least you hjave some sense." She chuckled and sighed. "Well, I better just be nice if i'll be stuck like this for the rest of my life." She commented and looked at him, in the eyes. She shuddered and looked away. Something clicked. xD

"That's a good Grasstail," Moonshadow said. Maybe now he could relax. It's not like she's going anywhere without him. Then again, He thought, she might want to see her boyfriend. Maybe I'll pay him a visit. It'll be his last. Moonshadow smiled and laid down on his belly.

Shadowheart follwed close behind Brackenheart, excited and scared and anticipating what he would do to anyone that had EVEN TOUCHED Grasstail. He would go all NINJA SHADOWHEART! xDD

Brackenheart crept silently through the... bracken, the white spear-like object clenched in his teeth. Shoulders hunched, he daringly crossed the JointClan border...

"What a burden, huh?" Moonshadow supposed, "Not that I would know. It's not like I'm special or anything." He then stretched, thinking, But I don't believe anything you say about Shadowheart.

Grasstail shrugged. "We went on a unting trip after I was appointed Deputy. Then I liked him. I'm not sure about him though. But THEN someone tricks me and brings me HERE." She growled, glancing at Mellowpetal.

"Whatever you say, Grassy, whatever you say," Moonshadow boringly. Hmph, deputy. I wonder how well she was at it, He thought. Moonshadow then chuckled at the thought of her being one.

Grasstail hissed. "Grasstail. Do I need to teach you that? Or does the wittle Mellowclan warrior smart?" She teased.

"That's for you to decide. I don't care what you say, I'm not changing. I'm just some lonely soul who doesn't have a reason to exist, so maybe you should LAY OFF!" Moonshadow said angrily, jumping on to his feet and looking like he was about to explode. He breathed for a little and sat down again, starting to calm down.

Grasstail had to do the same, because Mellowstar's punisgment mad her copy WHATEVER he does. "Look, Moonshadow. I hate it here. So get use to it?" She whispered, her eyes blazing.

"Fine," Moonshadow said aggravated. He thought to himself, What can a nobody like me do to get used to anything. He sighed sadly. He might've wanted to tell Grasstail why he was so emotional, but she would just make fun of him.
