= JointClan = Part 7- Returning trouble

If Shadowheart had heard that, he would've been dissapointed and happy all at once.
"Calm down, will you?" Stripepelt snapped, pushing Shadowheart off. His paw still hurt badly, most likely broken or sprained. He limped over to the medicine cat den.

Grasstail shrugged. "I'm not sure. Maybe, but nothing serious."

"Well... could you tell me his name?" Moonshadow asked, hoping not to be snapped at for asking.

GRasstail growled, and flicked her ears. "Shadowheart!"

"Grasstail, you're gonna be here for a while, so get used to me," Moonshadow said and sat down, still looking at her. "Oh, and by the way, if you tell Mellowstar anything about this, I will rip your ears off," He whispered.

Grasstail snorted. "And Vice versa!" She hissed. Grasstail stood up and tried to get by Moonshadow.


(FAIL GRASSTAIL.)

"You're not getting away!" Moonshadow said as he pushed Grasstail back. "Ok, how about this, Ill get kill for you, and you stay here until Mellowstar kills you or lets you go? Deal?" He negotiated.

Grasstail stumbled back. "Fine. By the way, Mellowstar won't kill me."

"Don't be so sure," Moonshadow said. He drew a grin and said, "But, maybe someone else will!"

Grasstail hissed. "Then why like me?" she snapped.

Shadowheart cocked his head to the side, confused. "What Clan? MellowClan or JointClan, Brackenheart?" He asked.

"JointClan," Brackenheart answered. "My purpose is to bring the warriors back to where they belong."

Raincloud watched silently, and then blinked her blue eyes, dashing back with Stripepelt. Her heart beat fast as she realized that Grasstail was left, but she didn't want to lose all her Clan for one cat. That would be kind of useless. As she arrived at camp, she stated, "Stripepelt, your paw may be broken. Again..." With a sigh, she went to fetch some poppy seeds to help him endure it. "Just rest for a while, okay? We don't want your life to be lost to Mellowstar."

"BACK to where they belong? They belong HERE, don't they?" Shadowheart asked.

Stripepelt sighed. "I know, she slammed me up against a cave wall." He sighed, and followed her into the den.

"Ok, ok, whadya want?" Moonshadow asked, slightly stunned. He wasn't expecting this.

Mellowstar walked in right when Grasstail tackled Moonshadow. She snarled, and shoved her off roughly, still having no clue about Moonshadow's feelings. "Moonshadow? What is she doing?" She snarled,

"You mean get Grasstail back from .. MellowClan?" He asked, holding in the ton of insults that could've spilled out.

"Me-Mellowstar! Nothing! She's just a little angry cause I'm not letting her go!" Moonshadow explained nervously. He hoped Mellowstar didn't find out about him soon. She was the only thing close to family.

"Grasstail, and Moonshadow, guess what? Mistress is punishing Grasstail by making her have to stay with Moonshadow WHEREEVER either of you go." She snarled. Moonshaodw should've done a better job, and Grasstail was just disobediant.

Moonshadow bowed when she left and walked over to Grasstail. "Well, you seem to have great ideas when your angry, now don't you!" He criticized. He sighed and sat down.

"Yes," Brackenheart said, nearly whispered, but the other cat could still have easily heard it.

"I'll help!" Shadowheart whispered back.
