Stripefur looked at him, suspicious. "Die. AGAIN?"

((I never said the "die a second time" part, he almost did though.))

Rainlcloud took a deep breath. "We'll have to confront them eventually. After the kits get old enough, we'll just have to make the journey back..." Her expression was grave. Then she looked up at Stripepelt with hard eyes. "I don't care what happens anymore. As long as Lightningkit lives... Stripepelt, I think Lightningkit is that light that will restore the Clan."

Stripefur looked at him, curiously. "Hmm.. Brackenheart, right?" He said, faintly remembering a warrior saying that name..

Stripepelt nodded. "Wait.." He paused. "Lightningkit?" He said.

Brackenheart nodded. "Yes, my name is Brackenheart."

"Only from the 'light' and 'storm' parts," Raincloud told him. "From the jagged storm, since your stripes are jagged, and there are rain clouds in a storm. I'm sure he's the one." Her head fell slightly. "Sorry I didn't tell you earlier. I couldn't find the right time."

Stripepelt looked at her quickly. "No, its fine," He said softly, and loooked at his kits again, smiling.

Stripefur looked at him for a moment. "Wait RIGHT here." He dashed off, looking for Larchheart. (? Am I right about the name?)

Larchheart looked up. "Is something wrong, Stripefur? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Raincloud gazed at them intently. Lightningkit did seem to be powerful, but not arrogant towards his sisters and brother. When she thought of the powers thing she had told Stripepelt earlier, she grew alarmed but also wondered what their abilities were.

(( Ghost. Haha. xDD ))

"Wait a minute, powers.." Stripepelt trailed off silently.

"Larchheart!" He laughed darkly at the word ghost for no reason. "Brackenheart, is that name familiar?"

Firefeather followed Striipefur curiously.

"Brackenheart, Brackenheart, Brackenheart, Brackenheart, Brackenheart," Larchheart said as if she was hyperventilating. "Y-yes, what about him?" She stammered, but her eyes gave away that she wasn't afraid of anything.

Brackenheart sat patiently to wait for Stripefur to come back.

"I.. There is a cat in the middle of camp.." Stripefur trailed into silence, and then started up again. "He says.. His name.. Is Brackenheart!" Stripefur exclaimed. "Come on!!!" He urged, and then started quickly, clumsily, and excitedly padded out of the den.

"What about the powers?" Raincloud asked solemnly.

Larchheart reluctantly followed Stripefur, bouncing every few pawsteps. If she was a bit more timid, she would have had a heart attack.

There sitting in the front of the camp was the pale-furred Brackenheart, with that same solemn expression always on his face. It was as if there was a mouse somewhere in front of him, and he was intent on catching it like he always was intent on doing things. Despite her being on the brink of fainting, she silently approached him from a diagonal angle.

"K-k-k-k-k-k-ki-ki-ki-ki....."

Brackenheart turned and glared at Larchheart, attempting to find the one who had nearly said his real name. At the sight of Larchheart, his stiffened shoulders seemed to relax,

"Hello, Larchheart."

And that was when the deputy really did faint.

Stripefur looked at Larchheart, she had just fainted! "Oh, geez," Stripefur muttered, looking to Brackenheart.

"The kits might have powers, remember? Maybe thats why Lightningkit is in a prophecy." Stripepelt said.

Raincloud nodded. "I was just wondering what their abilities would be."

Brackenheart shrugged. "I honestly have no idea why she does that...."

Larchheart had fainted. It was that voice... that beautiful voice... it was definitely his. She hadn't seen him for so long... she was starting to get giddy....

Stripepelt nodded. "Exactly what I was wondering.." He trailed off, still gazing at his kits lovingly.

"Well, maybe she's glad to see you. Where did you come from, again?" Stripefur asked,.

Brackenheart paused. "StarClan..."

Stripefur looked at him, and nodded, not really taken by surprise. Again, he had seen his brother go back and forth from StarClan time and time again, he'd seen his former mate do the same. Even Stripepelt had done it.

It seemed like forever, but it was only about thirty heartbeats until Larchheart came to her senses. She stood up and shook her head, not surprised so see Brackenheart still sitting in the camp. Calming herself, she took a deep breath. She didn't want to humiliate herself in front of such a calm cat.

"Hello, Brackenheart... um, glad to have you back...."

Brackenheart was still able to tell that Larchheart didn't know what to say.

((By the way if Brackenheart was a human he'd be about 15))

Firefeather looked at Larchheart. Then Brackenheart. He tingled to see if Robinfur was around still. He didn't see her in StarClan.
