After sitting there for a few minutes, Raincloud rolled over and stood up. "We should be getting back. The others will be waking up, and it's possible you're on the dawn patrol. Just promise me one thing?"

Stripepelt nodded in agreement. "Yes?" He said at once. He'd promise the world to her, he loved her so much.

"Don't tell anyone about this place."

She stood up and began heading back to camp, but first started north a few hundred yards. THEN she turned west.

Stripepelt nodded. This felt like a special place, free of worries, for a little while at least. He padded back to camp, and saw he was on the Dawn Patrol with Fernstorm and Smallpaw. It was over pretty quick, nothing new. They even brought back a piece of prey, pretty plump, in Stripepelt's opinion. He sat down, and groomed himself quickly, feeling restless.

Raincloud gave Stripepelt one last glance and then headed into the medicine cat's den, noticing the height of the fresh-kill pile.

((Okay, what do we do now? Who plays Mellowstar? Is Mellowstar going to have kits yet? Raincloud said that they would attack again, after they were confident about it...))

(( Vixen plays Mellowstar for now, she had a plot for the kits so I can't do anything..))

Breezestep kept Mellowstar's order in her mind. See how JointClan is doing. She remembered the exact moment.

Though many MellowClan cats had been badly hurt, most of them would heal. Breezestep approached the border and sniffed slightly, heading indirectly towards camp. She skirted the edges and tried to smell inside the medicine cat den without revealing herself. She ducked into reeds nearby and focused her nose. There's some smell of blood in there. At least three warriors were scarred. Perhaps.

The gray she-cat continued to the warriors' den, where she scented more blood, but less of it per cat. The warriors are strong... okay, time to report back to Mellowstar.

But she accidentally tripped on the way back.

Raincloud's ears pricked. She followed the odd noise, and noticed an odd cat a few fox-lengths in front of camp. Worst of all, though, she had MellowClan scent.

With a growl, Raincloud tried to pin the gray warrior down, but Breezestep fled away and across the border. I can't believe it. I almost got myself killed!

Shaking her head, Raincloud ignored the she-cat and padded back into camp.

((So, you guys are excluding everyone else, don't worry, BRACKENHEART's got something.))

((We don't mean to exclude everyone else. It's just that it's fun role-playing when there's conflict that includes you. You aren't the medicine cat who loves somebody, so... we can't help it.))

Okay. Start with Larch.))

Larchheart's eyes kept swtiching to Raincloud and Stripepelt. It made her want to see Brackenheart again. But she knew she was probably seeing him too often nowadays anyway. He existed only in her memory now... what Raincloud had done with the previous Stripepaw... it couldn't be done with Brackenheart. She was positive he was dead (It had even been declared quietly among the two MellowClan cats), although no one had seen anyone kill Stripepelt. For once, she just wished she could have kits.

Fernstorm padded over to Larchheart. "Hey, Larchheart." Fernstorm said, smiling. She noticed that she never really talked to anyone anymore. She seemed, weird, for some reason, about something.

((You guys just like rped, 5 pg. without me. I can't get on often. I already got two pms and someone jsut lied to me on here. I'm tired. I'm frusterated. WAIT. I know how you feel Dawn, but it's harder now. I need an update.I can't rp without one. )

(( Basically all that happened was Raincloud and Stripepelt talked and Raincloud showed Stripepelt a secret place. Then Stripepelt came back from Dawn patrol and is resting. Fernstorm padded up to Larchheart to talk, thats it.))

Stripepelt got up, and padded into the medicine cat den again. He padded over to his mother, Amberstar, and smiled. "Are you feeling better?"

Amberstar didn't look at him and nodded.

"That's good." Stripepelt said, noticing that she didn't meet his gaze.

Amberstar sighed and put her head down.

"Is anything wrong, Amberstar?" Stripepelt asked suddenly. Was she mad at him, the fight.. I mean.. Stripepelt pricked his ears.

Amberstar glared at him. "Nohing you need to now." She hisssed quietly.

"Geez," Stripepelt muttered. Something was wrong, very wrong. Was it a new prophecy or something? What was she not telling him?
