Tara laughed quietly and smiled at Aaron.

Violet composed herself and then said, "Congrats."

Sarah grinned and Aaron snaked his arm around her waist, pulling her closer, "I figured it was time to tie the knot when in the middle of the last war. Of Course, me being me, I proposed in the middle of the war." He shrugged and grinned.

Jacob just smiled.

"I don't know how to tell my uncle that when my parents die, I just want to live wi-" He stopped himself. "Alone."

Tara blinked, "Live with who Aaron? Don't lie."

Violet laughed, "That's why I heard a scream across the battlefield... It was Sarah's reaction, no doubt."

Sarah blushed and grinned, "Actually, Yes, It was."

"I'm going to bed." Jacob whispered and walked over to the tent and went in.

"You." Aaron answered truthfully.

Violet shook her head and said, "I'm going to bed too, have fun love birds."

{Old} Aaron smiled and just shook his head and made another tent pop up, Sarah and him both went it to sleep.

Tara tried to hide the surprise in her eyes and she muttered, "Oh."

Jacob was already in his sleeping bag staring at the side of the tent before Violet had even come in.

Aaron nodded and turned around so he was facing the forest. He started to run.

Tara followed him maching his run with a long sprint, "Aaron! Wait! You didn't let me finish!"

"Vi'?" Jacob whispered.

Aaron slowed down and turned around again. "What is it?"

Violet laid down beside Jacob and groaned, she had been almost asleep, "Hummm, Jacob?"

Tara grinned, "I'd like that."

"I meant that thing about the Secret Service and everything... I'm going to talk to the President of the U.S. tomorrow." Jacob whispered rolling over onto his back.

Aaron nodded. "I'm going back to camp." He answered.

Violet was wide awake now, "Why the Heck would you do that?" She hissed.

Tara realized she only had a second to ask and she grabed Aaron's hand and crushed him into a hug while muttering, "Don't leave."

"Violet, I just want you and Aaron to be safe. I don't care if my life is taken in the process. Just as long as you aren't hurt." Jacob whispered looking over at her.

"I won't." Aaron promised.

Violet looked close to tears, but she swallowed and said, "No. Jacob, I've accepted it. I won't live in this world without you. I'll followed you shortly after when you die. I won't live a moment knowing your rotting under the ground." She grinned and swifted pecked him on the cheek, "Now let's sleep."

Tara smiled softly and murmered, "I'm sorry about the vision... Really... I know you didn't want to know about your parent's death... but..." She trailed off, pain crossing her features.

Aaron held up his hand. "It's fine..." He answered

Jacob smiled and closed his eyes, drifting off into a deep sleep.

(Urg, I apologize for all the spelling mistakes... I get ahead of myself when I type and I missed letters and words.)

Tara smiled and then whispered barly audible into the night sky, for she was looking up, "I love you."

Aaron smiled. "I love you too..." He whispered. He felt a deep headache fill his head. And then it faded away. "We can't be seperated from each other by more then a quarter of a mile." He answered. "Other wise, we faint and possibly die."

Tara blinked and looked at Aaron like he was mental, "What are you talking about?" She stepped away from him, thinking that he was going to hurt her.

"When a breed of ours er- gets attached to another person. We develop a speical bond..." Aaron explained warely.

"Breed? And why did you hesitate when you said 'attached'? What kind of bond? Aaron, tell me..." Tara stepped back one more step and looked at Aaron warily.

"I didn't know how to put it. And breed, Powerhouses, people with Powers. The bond is like a leash. Attached to both of the people. If that leash gets stretched we start to lose our power and conciousness. If the two people somehow get back together they get their strength back." Aaron explained to the best of his abilities.

"But..." Tara faultered, "Aaron... I'm not a Powerhouse... I'm a mutant." She said the end bluntly, her features going into a careful mask.

"You still have powers though." Aaron insisted reasonably.

Tara frowned, "Aaron... the 'powers' as you call them are just from Scientists messing with my brain and genes."

"I guess you're right..." Aaron said a bit mad at himself for including all of this confusion.

Tara frowned, "Aaron... you didn't answer my question before... what were you going to say before you said 'attached'?"
