Pond Dust Magic Wolves~ Part Seven~ Days and Knights

Snakefang, seeing Oki make a move, darted in the way of the attack kicking out with the leg which bore the heavy iron ball he used as a flail.

Oki: The sword on my back cut his paw.

There was a streak of blood on Snakefang's paw, but it wasn't much. He had to find out how to use his flail without getting wounded.

He dashed forwards and looked as if he was going to leap upwards, but at the last second he ducked down and swung the sturdy sphere upward at his opponent's rib cage.

Roseclaw growled at Snakefang. "Do we really need to start a fight?"

Lawkyn tangled with his attacker and finally threw the wolf off. But he kept his guard up.

Oki: I roared. "OINA TRIBE! AT THE BASE OF LAOCHI LAKE! KILLERS OF MOUNTAIN EZOFUJI! RESTING IN THE HEAR OF THE FROSTY LAND, KAMUI, RISE! SAMICLE! KAI! KEMU! LIKA! TUSKLE!

"Doesn't sound good," Roseclaw agreed, and at Lawkyn's side, raced along behind the others.

Oki: "Correct!"

Tuskle: "Oki, bad news, the Day Of Darkness is upon us soon!"

Oki: "Kemu, Lechku and Nechku were killed right?"

Kemu: "Yes! By Amaterasu! That mysterious wolf would be a good Onian. But no human bloodline in her."

Oki: "So what if we're part human, Sire?"

Lika: "Tuskle, I'm scared."

Tuskle: "Why?"

Lika: "Look!" Snow flurries fell...

Oki: "Not winter..."
