[Hey Varjak, I was just reading the Pond Dust Part One! I was at the part where Fauna and Shadow go into the mountain passage!]

Lotus calmly wandered around the forest, pausing every few moments to scent the air. He wasn't looking for prey, but rather someone else to talk to. Not much had been happening lately.

Roseclaw could scent another wolf in the forest. Lying low -- she wouldn't want to die now, before she even had her first litter of pups -- she made sure to watch from the entrance of the den.

Roseclaw immediately saw another wolf who was prowling around, and backed into the den slightly, trying to hold back the urge to growl. Lazily, Lawkyn appeared beside her, his fur bristling as he saw the wolf pass.

Snakefang's ears pricked. The scent of another wolf passed by. He looked asleep, but opened one eye so that he could watch for intruders.

Garjou, however, was sound asleep. Only the scent of the wolf entering his nosed just moved him to a light sleep out of which he would be snapped with the slightest noise.

Amaterasu: "Go to sleep Aku."

((But it's morning... xD I think))

Amaterasu: "If there is anything, I'll take care of it, Aku." I sent a Galestorm.

Roseclaw protested. "No! We don't know if it's an enemy or not!"

Lawkyn drowsily shook his head.

Roseclaw shook her head. "He must have gone. Should we hunt?"

Lawkyn was still slightly drowsy, and lay down next to his mate.

Amaterasu: The sun rose, it would have been faster if I used my goddess powers. I frowned and looked down. "Aku...I need to find my home.. Kamiki Village, in the heart of Japan...all 13 celestial brush powers are mine again. And Oki needs to find his tribe, and go back to his human form..." i cried. Ammy: i let out a howl and rain fell. "I'll return when Yami emerges."

Oki: I snarled at Aku.

Ammy: "Heal! Head north, Oki! Go to Kamui Village." I blinked a tear." I thrust the divine mirror off my back, it turned to stone as the sword I got from Ninetails rest on my back. "Keep it, Aku, I mean, Snakefang!" I winked. I started to run, nit fast, taking every centimeter if Pond Dust in my sword. Oki was gone to Kamui, and the noon sun rose after I rejuvenated a bridge. I powerslashed the words AKU-UN & OMIKAMI AMATERASU 4EVER.

Aku didn't respond to the snarl. He looked Oki straight in the eyes with a calm gaze.

Oki- I ran off to Omikami Amaterasu. One last lunge at Aku. "Stay...away...from...her!"

Snakefang leaped back. "What are you talking about? I'm in the forest with a group; what's wrong with that?"

"Stay away from who?" Roseclaw retorted rudely. "If you're talking about me, I already have a mate, you know!" She bared her teeth in the wolf's direction, then growled, "Hope that crazy canine stays away. But we ate two days ago. Still, I'm not that hungry."

Oki: "I'm not talking to you!" I growled at Roseclaw.

Roseclaw shook her head. "I'm staying here; I need to rest."

Lawkyn stood his ground as his mate retreated into the den, not making eye contact with the other wolf.

Oki: I lunged at Roseclaw's mate.
