Sapphirestar seemed to be concentrating on something, she looked up at the stars. Suddenly a bright, blinding twist of dark blue, gold, and silver swirled down around Rainfrost and the shards.

Rainfrost gasped in surprise.

There was a bright flash similar to Airheart's and then all was black for a few moments, no stars were shining in the sky.

"Wow..." Rainfrost said feeling the enegry course through his body.

Sapphirestar bowed, both to Rainfrost and to her ancestors. So... water it will be... she thought.

Sapphirestar flicked her tail, giving a tell-tale sign that Rainfrost was done. "You now hold the powers of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air," she meowed calmly.

Rainfrost purred and practiced his newly gotten power's by trying to make a blast of water shoot out of the ground but instead it just shot a little trickle of water.

Sapphirestar watched the darkening sky. "We can rest now," she pointed out, "tomorrow Gryphonfur and Icefur will recieve their powers."

Diamondpelt sighed and wondered around camp restless, not really too tired. She looked up at the sky and slightly smiled to herself.

Lightningtail padded around the dark camp. He wondered why the swirl that came from the sky was always a different color depending on the cat. His was gold.

Diamondpelt sighed once again, and soon spotted Lightingtail. She trotted silently over, flicking her white tail in greeting. She smiled as she arrived near the tom.

Rainfrost turned after Sapphirestar went into her den. He didn't exactly know where to sleep so he scrammbled up into a tree and found a sturdy branch.

Lightningtail purred as Diamondpelt approached him. "Aren't power-ceremonies always exciting?"

Diamond nodded. "I can't wait to have one of my one." She meowed.

"Me too. The apprentince-ceremony will be different than the regular one," he added. Lightningtail didn't seem bothered by the fact that even though Rainfrost had just joined the Clan, he already had more powers than him.

"You'll get them soon," he promised. "I know it." Lightningtail leaned in, then added in a whisper, "Sapphirestar is going to give everyone apprentince powers because of Blasidon and Morgra."

Diamondpelt chuckled. "I know." She whispered back, her ears twitched as she sighed. Her pelt dazzled in the moon light as she shook it.

Lightningtail cuffed the ground with his paws. "We should probably go to the Warrior's Den now. Sapphirestar will wonder what we're doing."

Diamondpelt nodded. She got to her paws and stretched. She padded toward the Warriors den and yawned entering. She flexed her paws and curled up, putting her tail over her nose.

Lightningtail silently followed, creeping into the Warrior's Den, careful not to wake anyone up. He layed down in the last available spot, and tried to fall asleep.

Diamondpelt quickly fell asleep, she breathed silently and slowly only swifting from time to time.

Lightningtail couldn't followed asleep. He had too many things on his mind. The battle... Powers...
