"Have you been hunting all Dawn?Its freezing out this morning." Tamora gave a shiver, flicking the frost off her tail. The sun was only just barely half-way above the horizon.

I padded through the forest, tail brushing against bushes and plants. I heard a wolf approaching. I leaped into a small hollow, hidden by an oak tree and several other saplings. Heart pounding, I waited as another wolf padded into the clearing.

Drifter walked into the clearing following a wolf scent. She thought and decided to padded around. Her nose was in the air as she walked by a wolf, unoticed.

I drew back warily, stepping on a dry pine cone. It cracked in half, spraying seeds everywhere. I cursed the noise under my breath. Now that wolf would see me for sure. I shot out of my hiding spot and past the wolf, leaping out of the clearing and into the shadows of the forest for safety.

Drifter whipped around a chased the wolf. She pounced and pinned it down, panting hard. "Who are you?" She asked as her tail lashed behind her. 'You are also on Fernpack terrioty, and not to mention going toward Oceanpack-not a good idea if your not going to join." She explained, taking it easy. She still held the wolf pinned, while she waited for an answer. Her fur was covered in pinecone seeds too.

"Zora." I replied narrowing my eyes "Who are YOU?" I rolled over swiftly, throwing the wolf against the tree. "I was considering joining." I snapped, shaking my coat to dislodge any pinecone seeds stuck to it.

Drifter hit the tree and growled. "I am Drifter, leader of Fernpack." She spat. She shook her pelt and glared, unhurt.

I shrugged "That's nice." I padded toward the edge of the clearing.

Drifter ran and stopped her. "Join or death?" She asked.

"Join, I suppose." I replied "I wouldn't like to die with you as the one killing me." I turned around, coldly.

Golden heard the noise of a pinecone cracking, so she froze. then she saw to wolves spring behind brush. shhe sprang after them and then hesitated at the brush.but she went anyway. she saw a female pinning another wolf and listened to what they where discussing. she sat behind Drifter, quietly. then she whined softly, her golden eyes locked on the pinned wolf's eyes.
