Jasper took a long breath. "It's... a long story..." He paused, waiting for her to say something. When she didn't he continued. "When I was born, my parents didn't like me being a guy. They wanted a girl. They hit me and abused me. You could say I was Cinderella in boy form, without the ever falling in love part. I was scared of physical contact with anyone, scared that they would turn and smack me." He shuddered. "I'm getting better, though. When I moved out, I felt better being alone."

Dani continuously skated around the nieghborhood where she knew if she got caught, the police would probably yell at her, but she didn't care. Jasper's words and smile were still being pondered in Dani's head. Maybe you could teach me to ride sometime,Jasper smiled right at Dani. What did that mean? dani thought, was that supposed to be a move?Dani never failed to ponder this subject.

Lilly teared up and hugged him tightly. "I wont hurt you..." she murmered in his ear an slowly kissed his cheek. "I could never hurt anything-or anyone-I loved so much.." she pressed close to him.

Dani skated around, every girl was with a guy, even Lilly. She felt lonely within the town. Maybe I should just move away.... No! You can't move away! There's still time to win Jasper!

Jake stared at Dani who skated by. He glpd and tears poured down his face. "Nothing!"

Jasper tensed up every muscle in his body at the kiss, but he enjoyed it. He smiled slowly.

"NOTHING!!" Jake screamed reluctantly.

Lilly smiled and kissed him again, for along time, hesitantly, but not on the cheek... She slowly wrapped her arms around his neck and played with his hair.
