Dani saw jasper and lilly enter Jasper's shop together. She decided to take a break and go talk to them. She jogged down the steep grassy hill covered with red and golden leaves, and opened the creaky door. She smiled and said, "Hey, guys. What's up? I havn't talked to you in forever. She looked up into Jaspers gleaming eyes. Dani had never really talked to him. Only crushed on him for half her life.

Lilly stood next to Jasper. "Hey Dani..." she said glumly, looking down.

Dani always loved to see her great friends, especaily Jasper. But she never really showed the small part about Jasper. "Hey Lil, Jasper, d'you guys wanna go to the beach or something later, like with Jay and Amelia and all?"

Dani looked down at her feet. She knew Lilly liked Jasper too. "Alright," she looked up and smiled."I'll go with Jay and Amelia then. They are my best friends anyway" she smirked.

Lilly grinned in the mean kind of sarcastic girl way, "bye!" she gigggled, stepping closer to Jasper. She could tell she was up for a challenge to win him over...

Dani trotted out the door, almost fuming. She thought Lilly was her friend, and would understand. Once Dani got up the steep hill, she got right back to work and pushed the wheelbarrow around to the back of her farm.

Jake smiled as he walked through town, staring around. He saw Dani walking out of Jasper's shoplooking upset. Man, is she beautiful when she's upset! he thought and raced towards the girl he liked for 3/4 of a year. "What's wrong?!"

Dani was surprised, she never knew he liked her. She felt his strong but graceful hand pull her bangs back. She looked up at him and stood exactly where he had cought her. "Thanks," she breathed as his hand came down and met hers. He seemed to be supporting her hand very carefully.
