Branchstar nodded slowly, and got up. "I have, Toothfang is gonna mentor Fernpaw." Branchstar said, and started out of his den.

Amberheart nodded and followed.

Branchstar leaped onto the highrock, and yowled for a meeting.

Fernpaw leaped up beside Branchstar, knowing she was gonna get a mentor.

Wolfheart, and all (MY) cats gathered swiftly beneth Branchstar.

Amberheart and the rest of the cats gathered and looked up.

"I've decided on who Fernpaw's mentor will be." Branchstar began, and flicked his tail toward Fernpaw sitting next to him. "Toothfang."

Wolfheart watched, and felt a pang in his stomach. Fernpaw had the same look on her face that Stormwind did when he was fighting him. Calm, and like he was the most powerfullest person in the world.

Toothfang smiled and touched Fernpaw's nose.

Fernpaw licked Toothfang's shoulder restpectfully, and had to calm her breathing when she saw the way Wolfheart was looking at her. She looked away from Wolfheart, and concentrated on Toothfang.

Branchstar smiled. "Clan dissmissed!" He yowled.

Wolfheart headed toward his den, but was still eyeing Fernpaw.

Toothfang saw how Wolfheart was looking at Fernpaw. He glared at him.

Wolfheart winced a bit at the look Toothfang gave him, and turned away.

Fernpaw's mouth had gone dry, and she looked at Toothfang. "So, what are we gonna do?" She asked, managing to speak normally.

"First I'll show your the territory." He said.

Fernpaw nodded. "Ok!" She felt alot better,

Branchstar went back to his den, and sighed.

Toothfang looked at Wolfheart again, and flicked his tail and led Fernpaw into the bushes, running into Whalecall. He hissed and pounced on her.

Whalecall grunted. "Watch it, you lump."
She hissed.

Fernpaw stood next to Toothfang, and helped with the pin. "What are you doing here?" She hissed.

Whalecall smiled. "Oh, just looking, Scarstar told me to-" She stopped.

Fernpaw's eyes narrowed. "Scarstar told you what?!" She demanded, her tone furious. When she got her paws on that dirty little..

Whalecall rolled her eyes. "Why do you wanna know? All new 20 members of BloodCaln know!" She spat.

Tootfang gasped. Twenty!

Fernpaw was stunned, but stood her ground. "Tell Scarstar that Fernpaw said that if he sets one pawstep on JointClan territory I'm gonna give him something to remember me by." Fernpaw spat.

Toothfang growled. "First, your coming with us!" He snapped and pushed Whalecall to her feet.

Whalecall growled and follwed them.

Fernpaw stood in back of Whalecall, growling.

Branchstar sat in his den, and remembered the look Wolfheart had given Fernpaw. "Hm." Branchstra murmured.

Tothfang led Whalecall into his leaders den. HJe hissed and looked at Branchstar. "WE found this cat in the bushes, and she happens to be one of the new 20 members of BloodClan!"

Branchstar looked at the rouge, Whalecall. TWENTY! "You found her.." He murmured. "Get back to BloodClan, and don't come back." Branchstar said to Whalecall.

Whalecall dipped her head and ran back to camp.

Fernpaw looked at Whalecall as she went, and felt the fur on her neck lay down.
