Marlin flinched at her tone, and he never flinched. Most thought he was indestructible. "So.... You and Jake huh?" He said, tart in his hand, other holding open the door before he left. "Nice to know you got someone now......." He muttered.

"None of your buisness.." Dani muttered harshly under her breath. "Why do you care, anyways? You have Celia and you don't see me whining about it..." she flinched at her name, knowing how stupid and jealous she felt of her. Dani knew she was being extremely rude, but Marlin deserved it. She wasn't sure if she was right or wrong to treat him this way.

"I don't have Celia..... Vest arranged.... Never-mind.... Just know that Celia and I won't be." He murmured half to himself, half to Dani. "And.... I guess it's right to treat me this way. I was immature... Well, I'll be on my way." He felt heat rising to his face, and he started to close the door behind him.

Dani glared, she knew she was wrong now, and she had to stop him. "Where are you going?!" she yelled as she ran out behind Marlin.

Marlin stopped and turned back to the running Dani. "Going to my hide away. It's got the cleanest air for me, so it's good on my lungs." He eyed her suspiciously. "Why?"

Dani looked down at the ground kicking an imaginary pebble. "Look, I'm sorry.." she tried to keep her tone level, "I was jealous..." she added quietly.

Just than, Jake walked out of his house, a few doors away from Dani's shop, in his jeans, a tee-shirt, and cute, messed up hair. He looked over to Dani and Marlin and his eyes widened. "D-Dani..?" he murmered, half hoping she didn't hear but psrly wanting her to. He turned his back on the two and headed for the beach, trying with all his strength not to break into a run.

Alana gasped but smiled, than pulled away quickly. "I like to have the firstmove..." she winked and kissed him back.

Skye smirked and kissed her back passionately.

Marlin gave a small smile to Dani. "Same here." He said, looking into her eyes. "I'm sorry too."

Skye smiled. "I think you're the first girl I ever kissed." He said to her. They didn't even notice how close they were, hands intertwined.

The sun was setting off an orange glow, making Skye's eyes sparkle with a sudden burst of color. "I wouldn't want it any other way."

Alana smiled and lie down on the grass, inviting himto lie beside her, and watched the sun set.

Skye scooted over to Alana and laid down. The sky had turned pink with spots of blue, and the sun just showered over the mountains.

Dani sighed at the same smile she saw when she first met Marlin. Her eyes drifted and saw Jake. "Ugh, not this again!" she muttered.

Jake sat at the beach and sighed.

Alana sighed happily at the beautiful evening.

Skye slowly put his arm around her as they observed the sun, bleeding into the mountains.

Marlin gave a small sigh. "We're going to have a tough friendship, aren't we?" he said with a fake chuckle.
