Explanation of the Prophecy.

A long time ago, Kenya left her old pride and started Hidden Fields. Her sister thought she was dead, and named her daughter after her. Kenya the niece grew up to be a medicine lion.
Kenya the aunt passed on, but before she did she made Goldenhaze deputy.
Kenya the niece found out about her aunt, and joined Hidden Fields. By the time she got there, the jewel had been found and Kenya the aunt really had died this time.
The lion in the prophecy was Kenya, the niece.
