Deserted pack~~~part two The alpha's choice...

"Well of course it is!" He took a small step forward.

She smiled, unable to deny her happiness any longer. "It's great to see you again."

Eclipse chuckled softly, his tail flicking back and forth. "Where were you, if don't mind my asking?"

Kaleria curled up in her den.

"I went out hunting . . . and then, a bunch of humans caught me. They just let me go a few days ago . . .." She shuddered, remembering the horrendous experiences.

Eclipse's eyes widened at the word of 'humans'. He shuttered slightly himself, remembering his past with them as well. He fought to find something to say, but found nothing.

"So . . . then . . . are . . . you and Kaleria . . . ?" She hated to ask, but she knew she had to. She wouldn't look up at him.

He sighed heavily and pawed at the ground, wishing he wouldn't have to tell her. "Yes." He whispered, looking up.

She nodded slowly. "I thought so," she whispered, trying to keep the sadness out of her voice.

Eclipse sighed. "I'm sorry, but I thought you....left." His voice was depressed as well.

Vishayla nodded. "I know. I understand." I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Him and Kaleria seem to be meant for each other. She frowned at the thought; she didn't like it.

Eclipse sighed again. "Well I was heading back to camp want to come?"

Vishayla was about to say no, but then she changed her mind. She didn't want to leave, even if it meant she would be watching Eclipse and Kaleria . . . being . . . together. She nodded, forcing a smile. "Sure," she said.

Eclipse smiled slightly, glad that she was brightening a bit. He flicked his tail and continued on his designated path.

Kaleria breathed and looked around, she felt a light pain in her stomach. Her eyes widened. "Eclipse!" She yelled, standing up.

Eclipse pricked his ears, hearing a familiar voice. "Yes?" He asked.

"Ummm... I need you!" She whimpered, a the pain became more evident.

Crud. Vishayla felt like snarling. She made a vow to give up with the whole trying to be friends with Kaleria thing—that coyote didn't deserve it.

Eclipse sighed. "Well, I'll meet you there, then?" He called over his shoulder.

"Uhh... hurry!" She tried to think of what to say.

Eclipse raced over, skidding to a stop beside her. "What is it?" HE asked urgently.
