Why do people do this? Idk. Overreaction, actually, on both of you guys' parts.
First off, you should use some sarcasm, or agree. ((Sarcasm.)) Like....
They say:
OMG THAT SUCKS! Why would you ever want to draw?! You should go back to Kindergarten!

You should say:
Well, I already passed Kindergarten, thanks for the offer though. I think I'll keep drawing, you can think what'd you like.

Just keep the situation calm, being all stressed out doesn't help.
But I'm not your mind; am I? xD Sorry about saying all that out loud.

Stormy, that sounds like a very good suggestion to me—I'm not speaking for Misty at all, but I just want to say that I'll remember that if I'm ever in a bad situation. :D
