I pricked my ears. "Yes?" I howled back, jumping to my paws. I'd realized I was in enemy territory, but I hadn't realized a fox would come looking for me. I braced myself for a fierce attack, leaping from the bush I'd been hiding behind.

Immediately I tensed, muscles flexed. This vixen wasn't kidding. "I'm Kestrelfeather, just looking for a place to say," I replied, the fur on my neck lifting.

I relaxed, lowering my tail. "Really? I mean, uh...thanks." I blinked hard.

"Oh, well thanks!"

Katiana snuffled the ground for a rabbit she had been chasing earlier. It had been scared off by a twoleg that was wandering along a path near where she was hunting. She snorted in contempt as the twoleg's scent flooded through her mouth again. "ugh..." she stood and scanned the forest for somthing else to eat.

I glanced over. "Hi," I greeted her. "Uh, I'm Kestrelfeather, and this is Frolic."

Aquos sniffed the air. There were foxes, but not too many. He could handle it. He walked to the clearing, feeling a bit calm. "Hey," he said.

Katiana, after finally getting a bite to eat, basked in a shaft of sunshine. She yawned lazily, dabbing at a small patch of pansy's nearby. But somthing in her mind kept telling her there was another presence around, though she could not find a scent, or hear a pawstep. Probably just prey-creatures...
